Congrats, dear Elaine! My new Brides de Gala Love twilly in cw 11 (rouge, bleu, bordeaux).
I've been stalking this on the U.S. Hermes web site for weeks and weeks; when it popped up, I pounced! (And a day later, all the colorways were gone, so I was glad I moved fast!)

Oh dear! I want to get another CSGM And these 2 were on my possibles list. But I would be hard pressed to pick my favorite! So your comparison pix are useful. Although the CWs are somewhat similar- the designs are quite different.I didn't tie them per se, but did a side by side to see how they look

I'm still in two minds....
Beautiful on you!Into the Canadian Wild, cw 05 in pink/green/yellow. I was planning to get this design in another cw, but once I tried this cw on it was love from the first sight. Have a lovely Sunday everyone and thank you for letting me share this picture. View attachment 3780176
What was the reason why you brought both scarves home? Is this a color combo you like? Or do you like these two designs and these two are the best options among the ones your store currently have? I would still recommend you to try them on you and see how they look on you. Different people bring out different elements on a scarf, not only from the way they tie it, but also the overall vibes, movement, complexion a person has. I still find these two scarves quite different, even though there might be similar color elements, one is predominantly blue, and the other is a soft color palette with various colors more equally presented. And the designs wrap quite differently. One provides a strong border and sharp look (with a magical center part to balance the whole scarf), and the other with many different components you can play with. I think it's also important to think about what you want to achieve. For me, most of the time I choose a design that I love and look for CWs that will work for me and I don't already have (a lot), but sometimes I look for the Color combos I'm missing in my collection. If you like these two designs, maybe choose a different CW for one of them, if it's the colors that speak to you, keep them both.

A stunning match!View attachment 3780936 View attachment 3780937 Not sure if this has been posted yet. Flowers of South Africa in 08 (blue brown and green)
I paired it with a short sleeved sweater that I think will look nice for fall. I can't wait to wear this in September!
You are welcome! Thank you for the complement! The color looks so much better in real life as opposed to the Hermes website. I didn't even have this one on my radar until my sweet SA wanted me to try it on. I also purchased Jardin a Sintra in the blue/ultra violet colorway. An Iris moussie (from SS2017) came home with me, too. I had such a nice day yesterday.A stunning match!I've been admiring this blue, Ladybaga! Thank you for sharing this cw here.
Wow! Your photos make the design look MUCH more interesting than it does on the H site, Ladybaga. Now that I've decided to give the Canada scarf a pass, I'm on the lookout for something else in the F/W season (because of COURSE I have to buy SOMETHING... right????) and I'm thinking Flowers of South Africa might be the one!View attachment 3780936 View attachment 3780937 Not sure if this has been posted yet.
