Picked up a few scarves when traveling this week! I normally wait for my store, but I have been DYING for this 90- it was on the top of my list.", and these 2 gavroches were too cute:

The theme for this new season is Object Sense. This gavroches has illustrations of "inventions" that have never been.

Fabulous! Especially that Parure. The black and silver is so elegant!
Brandebourgs Tatoo (indigo/blanc). I love how this scarf ties - it looks like some abstract art design.
This season is unexpectedly becoming very bad for me and I haven't event started on the CSGMs. I didn't think I would like that much, but that's turned out to be so wrong!

This looks wonderful!
Couldn't find any info about this CW online or anywhere so I thought I would take a photo of it laying flat to share in case anyone is interested. I find this CW unique because all other CWs for this design is going for a strong and dramatic contrast color theme (same with that so gorgeous tdf RTW dress), but this one is a very soft color palette. Not sure if this one is one of those hidden ones that will never go online or be heard of and only surface in very few stores, or that it will show up later. In any case, here's the photo in case anyone is interested.

ps. Does anyone know why it's called "Zeta" in 90 but "Beta" in 140?
Such a lovely, soft colorway!
Quick mod shot from yesterday. While I did not attend Comicon, I found it appropriate and timely to wear my Space Shopping scarf. It was fun to tie it this way- when people looked closely, they saw the UFO!!!View attachment 3773033
You always look so fabulous!! It's been so bloody hot here in Boston the last week I've not even thought about wearing scarves haha.

I loved your mod shot of this 140cm silk, cavalla, thank you for showing it flat! As for the scarf names, I don't know much about the artist but my first impression is she's using the names of Greek letters - Beta, Zeta.. just a guess!

It is fabulous on you! Agree completely that it ties beautifully. Thanks for showing this as I wouldn't have guessed how cool it looks tied.
Wow L., this is gorgeous!!! I wasn't moved by this design flat, but tied, it's rather stunning! As usual, H surprises with designs that are much better IRL than in their online presentations. Thank goodness for tPF....I think ;)

Thanks textilegirl and weibandy! Hope you both get to it on!:hugs:

Thank you, dear litchi. Definitely more Vert Amande to come. Such a pleasant color to look at.

Dear lanit, really appreciate your sweet comment.

Thank you, dear ElainePG. You spoke my thoughts exactly. I love how the soft colors balance the otherwise strong graphic. It is such an interesting combo.

Haha I love how you describe it! And this GM is ultra soft on the skin almost like a 70!
Oh so elegant as always, Cavalla. The Vert Amande really suits you.

A short, interesting video of Nathalie du Pasquier talking about her artwork - her H scarves will make sense when seen in the context of her designs:

Thank you so much for sharing this clip, dear litchi. Her paintings really speak to me. She currently has an exhibition at Pace Gallery till this Saturday, July 29th. Ah! I wish I could go! If anyone is able to make it, please kindly share some photos. :hbeat: I might have a new mission now to look for her paintings. I also did a bit of research on the Beta and Zeta, and you had a good guess with the names! According to the description on H, Zeta is referring to Seta (silk in Italian), her nod to her past. And Beta is the second alphabet in Greek, as this is her second silk design for H. Ah! How fun to learn about these stories behind the scarves! I always get the feeling that I'm traveling around the world and visiting galleries or going through some adventures with my H scarves. They offer so much more than just a little pretty thing around my neck!:love::love::love:

You're welcome, cavalla! :hugs: Happy for us to discover and share some of du Pasquier's work.

I miss the H scarf histories/stories booklet! Didn't get the one for this season and last.
