I have a couple of goodies to share..... L'Arbre du Vent in cw 11 (showing both folds on the bias) AND L'Arbre du Vent in cw 13 (showing both corners as well.) I went to H on Saturday and when I saw these two, I couldn't decide, so they both came home with me. (Please forward my mail to BAN ISLAND.)

These are both so striking with your coloring! Great choices!

Maedi, I would think no. 11, if you could live with purple trees, bc the pink is more soft.

Thanks cherryblossom! I was debating if I should go with the white (cw20) or black (cw22) because I do wear white winter coat/jacket. So I'm glad the black comes with a white hem!

Talk about a pop of color. The colors are so rich. I love how you showcased it with the yarns. I would love to see this one tied.

Thanks Greengoddess8! Just go to try on all different colors if available! I was eyeing on cw20 white but then this black cw22 just go against my skin tone & outfit a nice pop of colors!

Yes it's amazing how different they are in the different color ways! They don't even look like the same pattern!....The l'arbre really is so much nicer in person...

Greengoddess: Phew! Okay then, now I get it! Yes, my Sieste definitely has pink. But the L'Arbre in question does not and it is truly spectacular. I hope you can see it in person, and I hope you fall madly in love with it and get it!

Ooooh! Does anyone have a picture of cw 11 please? I don't see it online and I'd love to compare it to my 8. Croisette is right that the pink in cw 8 is very bright, Rose Vif.

Usually go for CSGM but don't think the colors will be as vibrant as the silk one.

Ceci, congrats! It is so vibrant in this cw and your picture captures that perfectly. I love how you photographed the scarf with the colorful yarns and felt in the background! I have only tried one cw of the CSGM, but it didn't work on me at all. I also wanted the black CSGM, but am now thinking the 90cm will be a better fit for me too.

Here are my two new beauties for which I temporarily departed Ban Island yesterday. They will always be a sweet memory of my day with the thegriswolds and Pocketbook Pup!

Once again, congrats on two beautiful choices, dear Pirula! The SaP is spectacular and love that we are twins on the ZP! Yay!

Here are my (other) purchases from the infamous shopping trip with Pirula and Pocketbook Pup. One is Zenobie in CW 16, which has been shown before;

And l'arbre du vent in CW 9. They call it slate gray and dark khaki but it reads to me as almost more a teal and taupe. This one jumped out at me as soon as we walked in. I love the rich color palette:

Hope these pics aren't too huge! Pirula, PBP and I had a blast. The selection at the WDC store wasn't as big as some others but the SAs could not have been more lovely and helpful.

Thanks so much Vitamina! We really did have such a lovely time. I have to be honest and share with you that the Sieste was not on my radar at all. While I loved a couple of cw's posted here, in general the design did nothing for me. But when I saw this in person, in this combination of colors, and the way that it tied, omg. But it took a lot of thinking. We even left at one point and had a long lunch and went back. The second time I tried it on, it was even better than the first and there was no doubt remaining. Now, the more I look at it, the more I love it. This was definitely a lesson for me in the adage of "try them on." :sunnies

So delighted to be your twin on ZP! The selection that day wasn't terribly large and I actually thought I might leave with nothing while I hemmed and hawed over that Sieste. But when I asked about the gavroches, and she brought out that ZP and I tried it on, it was an instant "This one's mine."

Oh okay, so this is actually Pocketbook Pup's & arabesques' and a few other's cw. It's so beautiful. I think the coral-y pink in 11 is the same as in my 8. But the 8 has the bright fuschia pink as well.

Hmmmm, frankly I think you can't go wrong with either one! And they're so different, I can see one having both. For comparison's sake:

Haha! I might just end up with both. Mine is darker and more serious looking. Pirula's is more bright and cheerful. Completely different.
