Agree wall at is nicer than mad ave but bergdorfs has been the nicest me about buying silk , the sas there focus on the silk without being distracted and trying to get me to buy leather or enamel

My info was that the opening would be a 'soft' one and that there would be no commemorative silk. I am a mere plebe though, and someone with a greater number of Vs in their VIP status might have more/different info
I was told that in typical hermes style it will be low key. A small ceremony of some sort before they open the doors and then champagne and mimosas. The SA in DC where they recently opened a new store told me that they have the stores well stocked for the opening so there might be some special items that you don't see as often in the stores- exotic bracelets, wallets etc.but I have not heard anything about a special silk.i am planning to go but hope it will not be too crazy.
Is this cw12? This is much prettier than on H.com. Now it's only making it even more difficult to determine what should be on my list...

Just bought this Hippopolis myself! The colorway is beautiful, and the design is really worthy of close examination. There are dozens of tiny horses populating this cityscape, doing amusing things--having a photograph taken, reading a book, playing with balls and balloons and on slides--and here and there are strange little human figures, and there's a smiley face in a pediment over a doorway. Seriously adorable. The artist was having such a good time!

I'm trying to be more planned and thoughtful this season. Of course, it's the spontaneous buys that I tend to wear most often. I've typed up my wishlist to help me with cw selection and narrowing down on silks. Tyger is my hardest - there are 3 90s and 2 csgms I'm trying to decide among. At least the cashmere cws are repeats, but determined to buy only one.
