Also here is my new baby! She's beautiful, although much more leaning on the green side than the blue side of turquoise (which is what I expected).

Your turquoise P9 is . It's such a good intense colour! Amazing. But yeah... the dustbags don't match. LV should own this problem and fix it! Hope they sort it out for you.

I'm contemplating the P9 leather pocket organisers! Mattd on Instagram just uploaded the indigo version that should be coming up! Currently on the website!/app I can only see the Green and Yellow ones available.

OMG that pocket organiser is SO GOOD! I'm so in love with this indigo colour, I just want to own everything. But I can't of course haha.

After work, I made it into the LV store the last hour LV was open to pick-up my new P9. So, I didn’t get to take a photo of my bag. My dust bags have turquoise letters on them, but no turquoise cut out was given. Never seen the cut out before so not sure what the cut out would’ve been of or what it would’ve look like. 🤔

I’m so glad I saw this post!!!! Just got my lime p9 this week but have been admiring the turquoise 25 for a long time. When I ordered the lime, the turquoise was unavailable. I contacted my SA this morning and she was able to order it tonight!! Now I’ll have two soon but I never would have thought to ask her if I didn’t see this! So thank you!! LOL 🩵🥰🎉

Just wondering, for those of you that have purchased the Speedy P9, how did you do it? I am going through a SA who approached me, but I still don't know if I'm buying it or not. I was told it was with the management team & they would get back to him with an answer. But it's been almost 2 weeks now. Is this normal? Is it really this difficult to buy a £7k bag?? I don't mind waiting for the bag, but waiting just to find out if you can buy it or not is starting to annoy me. I don't think they are validating me as he messaged a while back to say I had been validated so I'm assuming they are trying to see if they can allocate me one. I'm confused with this whole process.

This was really helpful! I saw the app was showing the turquoise p9 in 25 was “available” to order with a wait of 4 to 8 weeks for a couple of days. I was tempted to reach out about it.

The process is not as cut and dry as it would seem. These pieces are limited in nature with a list of people wanting them. Especially in the highly sought after colors. If they show available you still have to be nominated for the color you are seeking. You may get lucky and walk in the store and score one but if you are looking for a popular color that would be rare to find. Your LV history will be taken into account and a slew of other factors I’m sure.
I can tell you from my personal experience with buying both of mine that it was very different for each one.
I’ll try to be brief 😂
I inquired on the turquoise in a 25 as soon as I saw it hit the runway, I had a relationship with two different CA’s at the time and let them both know I wanted to purchase it. This was 4 months before release. I was told by both that I was added to “the list”, release day came and went and still no approval for the turquoise. I checked in weekly on any new status and nothing came. My mom and everyone I talked to was aware I desperately wanted a turquoise. My mom told her long time CA and 6 weeks later my moms CA called and told us she had a turquoise p9 waiting for us. I immediately made the 2 hour drive to LV and sat with my mom and her CA to collect the bag. My wait time was 10 months to get it and a lot of worrying that it wasn’t going to happen. It was incredibly difficult to get for me, and I was a VIC. I will add that one of my CA’s did offer a turquoise p9 in a 40 at the 12 month mark. I declined as I had already secured the 25.

My brown p9 in a size 40 came to me very easily, my regular sweet CA knew I was wanting to add a 40 to my collection and randomly offered me a P9 in brown monogram about a month after I requested a turquoise. I naturally took it as I was going to buy a canvas but figured why not grab it in leather instead. The process was quick and since I wasn’t buying a popular color it was much easier to secure. Though the brown mono did become popular a couple months later and became much harder to secure 😂

My holy grail was the tooled leather horseshoe speedy set to release Aug last year, I was on the list and never got to purchase it, I was devastated as I would have given up all others for that bag, but it wasn’t meant to be mine. I was offered the carryall 50 in tooled leather which I did purchase. Once I paid it took 12 weeks to ship. My understanding on the tooled leather was they were mainly handmade with incredibly limited availability.
Those are my personal experiences with the limited production of the p9 and the tooled leather.
To get one really is remarkable especially in the color you want.

I know that the waiting is horrible and you want it all paid and done but I would definitely check with a few CA’s and let them know your wants. I got lucky, I’m not sure I would have gotten the turquoise without having 3 Ca’s and 2 online advisors watching for me. It was a chore but I was determined. Initially it was not thought that LV would continue to release the P9 so they were harder to get. With LV constantly adding more I would assume it will get easier to secure them as time goes.
I really hope you will get word soon and it will ease your mind 😊

My CA largely confirmed this; they're much easier to get now for established customers, you'll likely just have to wait.

If anyone wants one but isn't CA loyal, I see them on IG from CAs fairly often - a CA I follow has had a lemonade 25, sakura pink 40, blue 30, and light green 30 all for open grabs this past week alone. (louisvuitton.dom and ask to join his channel)

@wildwest81 you see your story now genuinely makes me think I should have snapped their hand off for the P9 or that I misunderstood but I don’t think I did as I think like you say it fell in to the “got lucky they happened to have one in”. Here is a photo! (Photos are rubbish because all the others I took it looked very green as I couldn’t get the lighting right)

My experience of pre-ordering the colour I wanted seemed to go fairly smoothly and I paid at pre-order point.


I do not have the bag yet though so who knows if or when it will turn up 🤞 With this in mind, my story should probably not be judged as successful yet!

I would go instore and try there. I was offered a lemonade 40 in-store the first time I asked. Wrong colour and size for me though but the bag was undeniably beautiful to see and hold. I agree with @wildwest81 above, it would be exceptionally unusual to be instantly offered your colour and size preference.

I am a firm believer of holding out for the one you love 😊. It’s so nice you got to feel one in person so you could appreciate the craftsmanship. These bags are so expensive and such a beautiful piece for any collection.
I’ve been offered a few different colors after I secured my turquoise and I turned them down because I just wouldn’t use them but if I got offered a color I would use I would snatch it 😂

I actually have on my wish list a yellow bag as I had a lovely one that broke (it wasn’t designer but was a really great yellow that went with lots of things I have). That was a “warmer” yellow and I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for a similar tone but I’d most recently thought I’d get a yellow Loewe puzzle.

But the lemonade is a real pop- like it would look cool with a number of options! My issue is that I’m quite impulsive as if I get it in mind that like wow this is a really good chance to get one and get one now then I do it 😂😂 I need to not do this!!

I understand your struggle 😂. I can be impulsive as well and it never goes well!! Definitely hold on for the one that makes your heart happy 💛💛💛
