Just be careful. The 30 is very heavy on its own. Add some typical travel items and it weighs a ton. I would try them out in store (even in a diff color) just to get a feel for the weight. I personally cannot use my 30 for anything but basics like a wallet and phone and pochette with little things in it. My shoulder hurts after about a half an hour of holding it up and somehow the straps tend to slide down a little too. I still adore mine, but I would really make sure you are ok with understanding how heavy these bags get. Plus the 30 really needs a bag organizer and base shaper or else it turns into a total puddle.

My experience has been that you have to be nominated and be a good client. However, if a store just happens to get a bag in or a return, they can offer it to anyone, it seems. So I just let my SA's know that I am really interested in XYZ color and size and to text me and so far they have managed to get my the purple and the pink (25 and 30) pretty easily.... and I have been offered the blue/green and red in 25s over the last few months but turned them down. I think best to pick a good SA and check in with them like once every month or two and remind them of your P9 preference. No matter which way, these are $10k bags soooooo they are out there. Especially in this economy.Yay! Pls share a pic when you get it! Do you think this is going to be a seasonal item or a permanent item that will always be available for P9 clients? It's so cute and it looks really well made.

How limited are these P9s? Sorry, I'm a noob in the P9 world! Are they very rare and difficult to get? Is it true that one has to be "nominated" to purchase a P9?
i need y'alls input because i'm genuinely stuck. background context: i'm 5'10, 158lbs, toned, male. so i've been struggling because out of all the colors i feel like turquoise is my favourite. i feel like the 25 is a decent size, but on the smaller side and i feel like 40 is too big (even though i danced with the idea of getting a 40). i feel like a 30 is the good in between, but doesn't come in turquoise. so that leaves me with the primary colors, i thought about red because that is the only one of the primary series that i like (but just not as much as i like the turquoise). i generally want it for more everyday use or use more regular as opposed to a travel bag. everyone with a bag, what would you do? get the turquoise in the size you potentially might not be 100% on, or get a size that works but the color might not be 100% or do you wait for 30 to come in a color that you like? i just worry a 25 is going to be too small for my frame? plus getting a 25 in store to see in person has been like pulling teeth. i am strugggggggling. because i want a p9, i just haven't been able to commit.
I’m 5’11 and 180 pounds and the red P9 25 works ok as a daily carry but it is a little on the small side - still holds more than a small Loewe puzzle for example, and a smidge less capacity than a medium Puzzle. The 30 is quite a bit bigger than the 25 because it’s also a deeper bag and not just longer, so it may be a bit more of a travel bag than an EDC. Hope that helps!
Asked about a P9 in store and was offered this absolutely beautiful 40, in Lemonade 😍 The leather was so soft and squishy and the little pouch was a really good looking addition. The colour is fantastic, delicate but bright at the same time, iykwim.
If I take the plunge though, I would want 25 and they didn’t have any in stock. I would have gone for it if there had been one available, I think. Waiting lists are several months long, I believe.

I would suggest you try on general 25, 30 and 40 speedies. The size won’t differ too much in the P9 so you should be able to get a decent feel for what suits your look and your needs best.
Hate to say it but I wouldn’t buy the bag. It’s not what you want. It’s a lot of $ for something that’s just not right. Anytime I’ve settled on something over the years I’ve been ultimately disappointed.
this is exactly why i havent committed yet. i dont want to spend that kind of money, just for fun. i'm going to push my ca to call me in when they get one (of the 25 size)
my mom has the 30 and i've tried it, i like it. the 25 seems a little smaller from what i've seen in store, but i'll try to go in and see how the canvas counterpart works.
I have the 25 but a 30 is on my radar when the perfect color comes out.
I could be wrong but they seem to be producing more regularly in different sizes and colors. I’d wait for the perfect one if I were you even if the wait is long. Don’t settle on something so expensive.
I was able to get my 2nd choice but if I had the opportunity and it was ever made, I’d want a 30 in turquoise. 2 reasons…that color is absolutely gorgeous and the I don’t have any speedy 30s.
