First post (virginity) via my journey to the Alma bb club was hard won. Even I still can’t believe what all(!) I went through to finally receive my purchase. It’s much too exhausting to detail. However, I’ve kept every text exchange between myself, my SA and one of the store’s operations manager—along with every email from LV customer service, UPS tracking and their oops of falsely tracking my “lost bag.” Ultimately when I finally went in to pick up my bag (I ordered it in my local store and chose “deliver to store” for safety and it still ended up being a horrible experience) I got to choose from two bb’s due to them having had to reorder an available bag from another location. . . . All while UPS had their due diligence period for the LV claim that was placed on my “lost bag” order. Mi d you the bag was shipped from a store in Tennessee to here in Atlanta. The second reorder came from S. Florida (Boca Raton). I ended up choosing the bag from S. Florida as a sign because I’m an Atlanta transplant from Florida. ☀ Needless to say, my Abb is finally safely in my possession. Lastly, withstanding some of the anal frustrations us bag-lovers have over the tiniest details, I wouldn’t trade her in for any other everyday bag...for the time being

. Question for other Abb ow era/carriers: I notice some don’t attach the lock to the zipper pull. Where do you keep it if not attached or if not attached to zipper do you like it attached to the d-ring area? Also, the stiffness of the zipper is cumbersome, while the zipper clanking against the lock when I walk with it across my body annoys me slightly. The other thing I would have liked for them to add to this bag is a d-ring inside to attach keys (or small pouch etc.) otherwise minimal complaints. Great bag for the price point. I watched this bag too long (toying with just how small of a bag I wanted to carry again); by the time I made up my mind it had the ubiquitous price increase.
I’ve owned LV since the mid/late 90s when the prices were really affordable! I also think at my age I won’t ever go back to carrying a large handbag ever again. I’m all about minimalism. Life is too short to feel weighed down.
