I've been on a hiatus for four years, and seeing a picture of this bag tonight has brought me back! 
I got a first glimpse of this bag (online) about four hours ago - I've already added it to cart and just about checked it out.
Am I being too rash??? 
I started browsing again a few weeks ago and nothing else caught my eye. I wanted something timeless, practical, black, spacious, that can be worn crossbody and by shoulder. This 100% fits the bill, doesn't it????
Is this the bag too come back from hiatus with? 
Question is - do I buy the MM i have in my cart?
Or wait/hope a PM may come back in stock? Will the MM be too big for me? (I'm 5'4", slim build for reference)

You make a great point! Lambskin will probably require more care, but I guess when I said practical I moreso meant practical in the sense that it would work with a large range of styles. Something that would work easily with whatever I wear or where I go. Something that I can just pick up and go with.
It just seems like such an easy bag!

I did it .... I just bought a black MM!
Please excuse the shocked emoji - I am still in shock at how quickly I made that decision, especially after being on hiatus for so long. Once it sinks in a little, I will let my 
come through! Until then ... 
yes! I have a few lambskin Chanel bags and they seem to scratch at the least bump but I ordered the same bag and I’m so excited!
