Joining the Coussin family! I was wowed by the pink/purple pochette coussin, and found one in a boutique. Well, she arrived today and I couldn’t be more excited!! Lamb skin is a new experience so I’m a little worried about smudges and scratches, but it is a gorgeous leather. It makes me feel 5 years old again, in a totally good and fun way! It holds the largest iPhone, a pocket organizer, a small pill box a lipstick and my keys so she holds everything I need for many trips. Here she is.

Congrats on your order!! I’m loving mine, it’s so soft, smells so good, and is just absolutely fun to wear! I actually did a lot of reading and research on lamb skin care. There is a woman in the H forums that is an expert on leather care and has done amazing restorations on many H bags. I trust her implicitly, and in multiple posts she said it is best never to pre-treat lamb skin. She said it ruins the hand of the leather and it can change the color. Her only exception to that was potentially black lambskin but because mine is pink I didn’t really read that part. So I decided not to pre-treat the leather. She did say if you get a smudge of dirt don’t panic just use a brand new clean white eraser and gently erase the spot a tiny bit at a time so you don’t remove bag color. I actually got a tiny bit of dirt on the back of my bag yesterday and tried it and it worked great. She also said dents are normal and often spring back by running a finger over them. Lamb skin for sure is more delicate than many other leathers, but as I’m pretty careful with my bags I’m going to try and just enjoy without worry! If something bad happens, LV can repair for us. And I don’t plan to wear with dark jeans or clothes to avoid color transfer. I figured trying lamb skin with this bag rather than an 8k Chanel would be a great test!!Congrats on this! I was wondering if you’ve decided to treat the leather? I saw on the EU stalking thread that someone received the same color way and the bag had some missing pigment as well as dents from the zipper pull and chain. I’m hoping this was just the one bag. Have you noticed any defects or flaws or do you believe it needs to be babied? Thanks and wear this little beauty in good health
Wow she sounds Devine! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on the leather, and general quality of this piece. I’m hoping to use this in multiple ways shoulder, crossbody, clutch, the chain as a belt, bracelet, bag charm. I may add a bandouliere if I find one that matches well. A lot of flexibility with this and that striking color! If I find any issues I’ll most likely just exchange for the black one. Is it a specific kind of white eraser or just the standard office supply? Can’t wait to receive this!
Yes, it’s a very flexible and standout little bag!!! I’ve ordered 6 (eek I’m out of control) bandouliere’s from Etsy for an H Evelyne bag and two will go with this little beauty. So I’m doing the same as you plan. I can’t use the chain that comes with as a crossbody - I’m 5’8” so it’s a little short but I have a beautiful gold crossbody length chain from Mautto I can use for crossbody.

And the office eraser soft flexible white kind works great. Mine happened to be in a “pencil” form where the whole tube is a white eraser. It’s very easy to work with. I also plan to just scissor off the tip if it gets smudged so it’s clean and usable again.
Can’t wait til yours arrives! I love how different this little beauty is from anything else I have and am looking forward to summer “in the pink”!!

Gorgeous!! How do you like the MM compared to the PM? From the photo it looks like the links on the MM are larger? I wish they had more colorways in the MM size.
