Soft grained leather is the way to go imo. I feel like this compact size will wear better over time. I found that many of the smalls tend to deform in a few years but the compacts are shorter so I reckon it will also keep its shape for longer.

Regarding the security, when the sides are folded in and the hook is attached, I feel like this compact size does not leave that big of an opening. I am currently also using the dust bag as an organiser but is looking to buy a drawstring bag organiser to help with the security issue when worn open.

Ooh would like some modshots if you have any. I was worried whether the shorter form means it'd stick out too much when worn crossbody, but seems like that's not the case for you

Hey, I managed to get some shots for you xx. So far I feel like my favourite way of wearing it is definitely crook of the arm or hand held. View attachment 5831905

Here are some shots of shoulder and crossbody. You could definitely adjust the strap like you do with the mini hammock and double it into a shorter shoulder strap but I didn’t do it today. Personally I don’t think wearing it crossbody is too bulky, but since I like the folded in look I most likely won’t be wearing it that way.

Went ahead and took some photos of the bag opening as well. Currently using the dust bag as a drawstring organiser and it’s alright. Like shown below, I feel like with the folded sides and the smaller size, the opening is not that big, especially if you put it through the crook of your arm or hand held it’s pretty hard to get in there.

Omg thank you so much for taking these pics and sharing them with us! The color is so lovely, and I agree it is a really good size! I have one in the small size, but seeing yours actually making me consider the compact size <3

The soft grained leather absolutely stunned me with it's durability and softness. I definitely looking forward to having a Hammock in the soft grained leather.

I keep looking at this bag, esp now that they have so many colors in classic calfskin and grained calfskin. I LOVE how it looks handheld with the wings out.

Does anyone know how the capacity compares against a small puzzle or mini flamenco?
