It's lovely however the capucines bb and the Birkin are two different bags. If I could only choose one I would pick the Birkin 25. Let us know what you decide:smile:
Thank you for your response. Hermes would never have this combo which is why I’m drawn to this capucine. It’s similar in size to a b25 and is my dream bag, but it could be a forever wait. Just hesitant as it’s a big purchase. Thank you again for taking the time.

This is beautiful! I love my capucines BB, but honestly one reason I enjoy it so much is that I like the Kelly style but know I’ll never get one. I’m not going to put in the time/ money to be offered one from a store and I don’t feel comfortable going the preloved route for expensive items.

If I knew I was about to be offered a Kelly, I probably wouldn’t have kept the Capucines (mine was a surprise gift from my husband). That said, they are different enough that if your bag budget allows I see no harm in having both! :graucho: Especially if they’re very different colors.
Thank you for your input. Your response is much appreciated and helpful.

I’ve actually never tried a Kelly on so I guess I’ll never know! I do think the Kelly closure would bother me- I can’t stand dangling bits on my bags. I like the clean, modern lines of the Capucines. But, the Kelly is a classic and if someone handed me one, I’m guessing I’d be able to get over the strap thing
Thank you for your input.

I have the Capucines BB too and I love it. I have sold my 2 Kellys 32 because of the closure. It was so annoying to go in and out of the bag. The Capucines is so easy to go in and out.
But I know most people like a Hermès bag more then a LV, but for me it's not important to have H bags. For me a bag has to be beautiful but also practical :-)
From Hermès I like my Bolide so much because of the zipper.

My first capucine bb. Debating to keep as I am waiting for an Hermes call for a b25. But this combo is stunning. I feel guilty to spend so much on LV.
Those with this bb size, do you still find it useful
Thank you for your insight.

This bag in this combo is so beautiful and much more special then a Birkin 25. That's my opinion.

Good luck on your decision!

Just wondering if there was anyone here who has purchased an artycapucines from previous years or is planning on purchasing one from the current collection.
This is my only one.
It's funny because I actually prefer the capucines over the Kelly (on me). I admire the Kelly on others but it didn't work for me:smile:
I love the capucines too. But finally got a Kelly. My one and only Hermes.

Omg she is so beautiful! I have a capucines bb and a birkin 30 and I love both bags for different reasons. I am a minority for saying this (as I have never heard anyone saying this based on my research :) ) but I find it a little hard to get things in and out of my capucines as I would need to open and close the flap. For my birkin bag, I just keep the flap open and put it to the side if that makes sense. But. My birkin bag is also not super practical for my lifestyle (2 little kids) as it’s handheld only and I am able to use the strap for my capucine. With that being said, I just think that beauty comes with a price sometimes and I have these bags for their beauty and not practicality (this is just me though!). My practical everyday bags are speedies and Alma bbs (I find them absolutely gorgeous as well but different price points <3 ).

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the capucine. This was very helpful.
