Hi everyone! Joining the club with this snow BB - surprise 20th anniversary gift from the hubs. I love her!
Joining the club. I’ve been wanting a Capucines bb Galet, it wasn’t available but Impulse took over and I got this. It’s a teal green in real, but it’s reflecting to be more blue under the sun. 
I have not purchased one in the past but I wanted to share an experience I had this week. I received a call from a Louis Vuitton customer support specialist letting me know that my name had been submitted to be “eligible” to purchase one of the new Arty Capucines. She proceeded to share with me which one of them I was being offered, and then texted me pictures of the bag of information about the designer. (nothing different than can be seen on the Louis Vuitton website or elsewhere on the Internet.). It was not one that I was interested in, so I told her thank you very much but I will have to pass this time around. Has anyone else had this experience?
What color is this in real life? It is a gorgeous combination!

For those of you who have both a Capucines and a Lady Dior, are you still happy with your Capucines or do you reach for the Lady Dior more often? Or if you bought one or the other, any regrests? There was a discussion about these 2 bags a few years ago in this thread, but would love to hear latest thoughts.
I have Kelly Sellier that I really struggle to use. Beautiful bag, but too formal for my wardrobe (buying a cross body canvas strap helped a little, but it mostly sits in it's box) and soooo fussy to get in and out of.
I was eyeing the Capucines BB and Lady Dior in medium size to replace the Kelly but do you think that they are just as formal in style?

To answer your second part question, I have the mini and have zero regrets. I like the single handle. It fits everything I need and is secure without difficulty of access - Precisely why I don’t like the Kelly style. The bag is surprisingly lightweight and does go with everything from dressy (handheld) to casual (crossbody with sneakers). Easy no fuss bag. I oftentimes wear the bag backwards with the logo facing me to be even more incognito. In fact I like it facing me to open and rest the flap on the handle to keep it open to reach inside. I feel this shape and single handle is a softer design than the two handle lady Dior which is quintessentially modelleded after a tote. Still a cute bag but I could not handle the charms dangling on the bag. In fact, the hardware makes it flashier IMO. It is also less comfortable as a crossbody as it is boxier.
I would say if you are looking for more of a functioning tote, then go for the Lady Dior. If you don’t need to carry as much, my personal opinion is that the design of the Capucines is more refined and hence why I love mine so. The taurillon leather is hard wearing. I recently used mine travelling (wearing a hoody and sweatpants)and it was so easy accessing my passport. The thick crossbody strap is super soft yet sturdy and secure. At my destination, I used It as a hand held for dinner. I am thinking of adding either a BB or MM to my collection if the right color combination comes along. Hope that helps.

Love the variety of colors/handles/interiors that the Capicines comes in as well. I will have to try it on in the store- one thing I don’t want is another backbreaking heavy bag (my B30 is taurillon).
So glad I could help you out. If weight is a concern definitely do not go bigger than the BB. The MM is significantly heavier even when empty. The BB is a very nice everyday size. All the new models mostly have the hooks for the strap on the outside of the bag but there are still some older models around with the hooks inside. I find it easier to have the hook on the outside so that is another detail you might want to take note if when trying in person. There are a lot of seasonal releases coming up so I hope you find something you like and come back to post your pictures. Sharing is half the funThis was a HUGE help- thank you. Update, I ended up returning this beauty, and came home with a black bb silver he with python handle, and 2 weeks later, I got my bb Galet. I now have 2 neutral classics that I feel I will have a lot of wear for over the years. Contentment achieved.
Hi can you tell me how much fits in the BB capucines? i think the MM is too big for me, and I like the PM but it’s only available preloved. Tia!
