Thanks, ladies. ♡

Does resemble lexy!
Hmm--wonder how Jimmy will handle situation?
And if Rhubarb will try to cram him inside bag? :D
Story ideas to ponder. ;)

So glad to hear about Rhubarbs new starring role :smile1: Went to my local emporium today in search of crocodiles, sadly no Christmas reptiles were to be found. After having lodged a complaint with the manager, I did, however, snap up this little fellow :graucho: who, if I'm not mistaken is almost on topic!

A beefeater bear!
Aw♡

I imagine tiny raven ornaments. Hovering nearby. ;)

Jealous Jimmy grabbed Rhubarb's new bag. In his toothy blue mouth.
Then practiced the art of not being seen.

But, bear was not fooled by such lizard ninja mind tricks.
Because he could track vacchetta leather's scent.

Also, Jimmy the lizard waggled in a tell-tale rubbery sort of way.
When prodded angrily with a fork.

Awww! This is very cute! Much nicer than crocodiles. :smile1:

Oh! Jimmy should have known better! Rhubarb swam through an ocean. He will defend his Lexy fiercely. :graucho:

Rhubarb & Jimmy the lizard enjoyed a rousing game today.
This involved scrabbling to footie the "ball" into opponent's coffee mug.
To score "goals."

Defensive strategy included snapping rubbery teeth or growling menacingly.
Also more kicking.
And trying to hide the pilfered tree ornament, whenever I walked into room.

Ah, holiday joy. ;)

Rhubarb climbed into some holly bushes today.
To gather greenery for holiday decorations.

He chose to wear bag crossbody. Using jaunty ribbon to lengthen short strap.
This freed both paws for balance & waving @ people.
Also allowed bear to grab Jimmy the lizard, who ate far too many pretty red berries.

[emoji15] I hope Jimmy is well after eating too many red berries?!
Hehehe. I like Rhubarb's idea regarding the crossbody strap. Smart fellow. [emoji4]

As Christmas approached, Rhubarb noticed others acting badly.
Being naughty. By making him angry. Wanting their own happiness & comfort. Taking the last holiday cookie without asking.
Such evil had to stop.
So, bear reinvented himself as, "Christmas Defender."

He slung bag shoulder-style, @ the ready.
Held his toy lizard as locked-&-loaded weapon(which still could spew festive red vomit, from all those holly berries consumed--been a long few days for poor Jimmy).
Then began threatening the housepets, "Be good. Do what I want. Or be very afraid."

Of course, dog's worried look caused me to end "Christmas Defender's" brief rampage immediately.
But, pretty sure his spirit will live on. In so many of us. Through to New Year. ;)
