I got this from my grandmother and I hated it the way it was . It was way too "old lady" looking for me (and I am 40). Yes, I know it was different but I would never wear it like this. The diamond is 1.71cts and flawless

Here it is as a ring.

Here is what I did with it.

ooh! Stunning! Now it's even closer to your heart!

(I hope that wasn't too cheesy but I meant it!)

lol!
very true.

beljwl, it is stunning. would love to see it on. post pics? it has a CELTIC inspiration, which is beautiful and rather rare. iI bet you wear it often now!! Even though it is BEAUTIFUL, i am not sure if i would have done this, but perhaps i would have designed a different ring? The reason being is that there is something special in passing down any type of jewelery but mostly in a ring. Dont you think?

i hope im not making you feel bad or anything, just want to share ideas.

I originally wanted to make a different ring out of it, but I wear the ring below all the time. So I really do not know how much I would have worn it as a ring. I only like to wear one ring total. Besides the ring below I have a few other rings. So I wanted to do something with it that I would wear everyday.
