You gotta visit more!It hasnt been a year yet. I gave my wishlist in June. I shopped once or twice before that.
Uuuuuugh! Probably so. I hate just going into to stores to browse or drop in to say hi. I like texting my SA, picking up what I want, get in and get out!You gotta visit more!
Oh I thought you said you've only gone 1-2 times before June when you submitted your wish list. In that case, every other month is good. It needs to be natural and not forced.Uuuuuugh! Probably so. But I will take your advice and try to go in moreThanks!
ETA: to be clear I do go in at least every other month. Is that still not enough?!
Oh yea I dont force anything when I’m spending lots of money lol. I will gladly go back to Chanel (not like I really left tho) before I do that. I prefer happy stress-free shopping. I also told my SA all of the things that I said above so she knows me well enough now. I’m not in a hurry for a b anyway since I just got one in Paris a couple weeks ago. My SA also knew I was going to Paris.Oh I thought you said you've only gone 1-2 times before June when you submitted your wish list. In that case, every other month is good. Dallas is my home store. I definitely love it. It is a smaller store, but they always have a healthy collection to look at. If they don't have what I want, whether it is the color or size, my SA has always come through with getting it shipped to the store for me. Everyone there has been perfectly friendly.Any updates? Any one got anything recently? QBs? I haven’t been in the store since early December and only recently texted my SA to say Happy Holiday. I thought about going in today but I don’t like just dropping in and definitely don’t like going on the weekend
For those of you in Houston have you tried shopping at Austin or Dallas? Did you like the stores?
By collection to look at you mean your store has bags on display?!Dallas is my home store. I definitely love it. It is a smaller store, but they always have a healthy collection to look at. No bags on display from what I an recall, but literally everything else. Ties, shoes, home goods, scarves and twillys, RTW, jewelry, and beauty.By collection to look at you mean your store has bags on display?!![]()
I agree with you. The inventory is tragic. But I was told only New York could display bags in the states. That being said, my SA manages to get me 90% of what I ask for. And I am NOT VIP. I haven’t gotten another quota bag for seven months, but that’s to be expected with any store.I just had to come here and complain: Houston store is miserable-looking. I moved here in 2020 and drop by every couple of months to see if anything has changed but nah. The same one carre pouch in display from months ago collecting dust. The RTW I bought had to be ordered I couldn’t even see a different size and I swear the tiny inventory of it they have on display never changes. Can’t ever get tableware either, not only are they often out they won’t even know of upcoming ones like when Soleil was first showing up on official emails the SA still had no idea and the answer I got was “no sorry”. Months later I saw a single plate on display and was told everything was sold out. It honestly just looks like a miserable store. I get it, they save the “good stuff” for existing clients but none of the European stores are this bad. They might not sell the things they have on display but it doesn’t look like a store going bankrupt with multiple empty shelves (not purposeful, they’ll have like a stand with nothing in it or a tag only or whatever).
Any Houstonians shopping there, what is your secret? It’s impossible to buy anything from there I feel like, do they really need zero new clients and are good hiding absolutely everything and not bothering to put anything on display? It’s been years Covid can’t be an excuse anymore, especially when the few European stores I’ve been to this year have been so wonderful
I got one end of December 2021 and my second in June.Has anyone been able to get 2 qb this year?
Thanks for sharing! Congrats on your SO!Inventory could be better but I've managed to get almost everything I want, you just have to be willing to have your SA order stuff or charge-send from another store.
As for bags, I got one in May 2022 and got to do a SO in December 2022. I had been told to expect a second bag by the end of 2022, but my SA said that there were too many people still waiting for their first bag so she was able to secure me a SO slot instead. No complaints here!
