I've had no accidents with vachetta yet, but thinking ahead and out of curiosity ... what is the finish like on the leather after you've rubbed the eraser on it? Does the leather stay as smooth as the rest of the leather, or can you see any abrasion/roughness?
.
i'm still monitoring it, as i heard on tpf that the magic eraser can make leather crack.

but so far, so good!!!

omg, i'm so elated and thrilled about my lovely new looking handles!!!

still smooth, and it matches the leather on the inside patch perfectly.i did one of my handles on my neverful-which i thought was already neat and tidy, and it came out lighter and brighter also!!!

omg, i have to get some pictures and make a thread soon, before i get too carried away and start restoring all of my vachetta at once!!!but seriously, so far so good!!!sooooooooo so good! try it out, you won't be disapointed!

just one thing-you don't want water spots, so make sure you dab it on gently and get the whole section of leather slightly damp.it turns really dark brown, but i promise it fades away as it dries..just make sure it dries evenly;.

I am in!!

Congrats! Me too, I'm in! I didn't think I would like it due to the plate, but turns out I really love this bag. :smile1:

Congrats!!! Hope this one is a keeper! I don't like the plate to be honest. Can do without it. It gets scratched up so easily. I get really fine scratches just from rubbing against my coat.

Any mod pics??

Oh sure! (And I know what you mean about the plate!) Sorry for the bad pic, but here's mine, Thames GM.

Hi Thames lovelies! I've been wanting to get a versatile damier ebene. I like the thames pm but I also want something that I can use for crossbody. Speedy b in ebene is not an option right now because of the issues. I tried the bloomsbury and it looks too long on me. I'm 5 ft size 2-4. I am thinking of thames pm to use with an adjustable shoulder strap that I have to purchase seperately so I can use it as a crossbody. Any input on this? Will the built in strap rest well in front of the bag with an extra strap? TIA

Got my Thames PM yesterday :smile1: Very excited :happydance:. would like to let u ladies know that it's not too small. if you do not lug around too much, it is a great day to evening bag. GM was too big for me. I am 5"2 and weigh 48 kgs. will try to post some pics soon.

just for info...my thames PM easily holds my phone, sunglasses, a mini pochette, a wallet, small hand sanitizer bottle, keys, a small hair brush, tissues, a thin v-card case and a coin purse. I find the size extremely convenient as a day bag too

I had the same idea but I am still waiting to get my thames pm. i have an eva clutch in ebene but wanted something a bit bigger sometimes. Would you mind sharing your modeling picture if you decided to do it?

I got an eva clutch on Friday. I figured it is the right size crossbody for me. It does not fit much though. I had to downsize my wallet to a cles and cosmetic pouch to a pochette. I guess I will wait for your modeling pics with the thames pm? Can't wait to see how it looks.
