T wire bracelet getting misshapen/bent out of shape?

Tried it on today and loved the look but was very hesitant because of the weight. I also have a small JUC and can say that the sturdiness between the two are night and day. The JUC is light but always snaps back into place. The Tiffany T will definitely have to be realigned over time. I asked to try on a few and all of them came out slightly off. Also, I was pretty surprised that, between the 3 that I looked at, one was clearly lighter in weight than the others (the other two felt sturdier and like the bracelets would weigh more too). When I pointed it out to the SA, she agreed and had to check the price (she thought the heavier ones would cost more) - they were the same. I’m still considering it but I wouldn’t wear it as a 24/7 piece and I would have to go back to find the “heaviest” one possible.

I think the main reason the JUC seems more sturdy is because the ends overlap. I have a hardwear ball bypass wire bracelet and it always snaps back into place and never loses alignment. The ends overlap like in the JUC so there is no gap. The gap in the t wire is what makes it so flimsy and flexible. Also, larger sizes seem more floppy as well.

I still love my rose gold t bracelet too. I wear it probably once a week. I didn’t do a whole lot of research on whether it is flimsy or gets bent…..I just bought it because I love the way it looks. I guess, I’m saying that even though it might get bent or misaligned later I still love it!

I wanted to review this thread and see how everyone’s T bracelets are doing. I have one less than 2 months old and one of the Ts is slightly bent - i’m not referring to the Ts not aligning perfectly but more of an outward bend. I probably wore it 5 times and took it off each time end of day. I love it but getting worried about the high maintenance. Will get into the store this weekend and ask about it

I bought a white gold T thin wire in May and it got caught in my sleeve. It was bent out of shape so I took it to Tiffany’s today in Brisbane Australia for them to fix it and it was a horrible experience and I’m so upset. The customer service person took it away. She came back and said it can’t be fixed they offered me to replace it for $1000 and I said well I have to think about it. I took it to my own jeweller across the street and they felt uncomfortable about trying to fix it so I went back to Tiffany’s to say okay I’ll take the offer and then they told me it was $1600 not $1000 I had to pay and I was so upset and they were very rude to me. Tiffany’s is not like it used to be and I definitely will not be paying $1600 for a replacement that will do the same again.

I am so sorry you had this experience, that's terrible. I happened to be in Los Angeles on work when I noticed mine was bent a bit out of shape (not the usual misalignment which I am able to fix myself) and took a chance and walked into a Tiffany store there. The sales assistant was LOVELY, she took it in to check and came with it less than 10 mins later and said her manager has the same bracelet and fixes this all the time. It was returned to me as good as new, no charges of course. The key seems to be that it has to be done at a Tiffany store because it needs to be bent back in shape with more force than we'd be comfortable putting on it. I have restored faith in Tiffany CS after that experience but I hate that yours was so different. Is it possible to try a different city/store when you travel next? I have had good experience in Sydney where I originally bought mine. I went back and exchanged twice (I know!) within 30 days till I was happy with the piece I had and they were very accommodating.

I’m glad you had a good experience. They told me that they had an in house jeweller and that he couldn’t fix it so perhaps he hadn’t come across it before.
I can’t really travel around trying to find someone to fix it, but it’s very disappointing and I won’t replace it given this experience.
