Hi all,
I tried on the T wire bracelet recently and fell in love with it—I have very small wrists (XS at T&Co) and loved how lightweight and subtle it was. However, the wire mechanism concerns me. I know they show you how to correctly put it on at the boutique and that the wire is flexible, but the bending if you want to align the T’s as well as to put it on scares me—I worry about paying $2,000 for something that may not hold a shape very well. Will taking it on and off less reduce the risk of it getting super bent? I would plan to wear mine 24/7 and maybe remove for cleaning once a week to avoid having to constantly bend it on and off.

I understand the T1 collection and the square T’s are meant to be sturdier, but I don’t like the look of them as much as these. Haha.

Does anyone own the bracelet and can speak to their experiences with it bending? None at all, some but it doesn’t make the bracelet totally flawed, etc.?

I wonder how it would NOT be bent after some time due to the nature of it...?
Question is if it breaks at some point or is it easily aligned over and over again without any problems.

Kat L on YouTube says hers got bent (I think this was during one of the luxury live shows about fine jewellery). It's quite flimsy, apparently. But that's basically the trade-off for a thin, lightweight item like that. It seems inevitable. If you never take it off though, that would definitely reduce your chances of bending it out of shape. Whether it's suitable for 24/7 wear I can't say as I don't own it myself.

I have a few wire bracelets from Tiffany….different styles (including the T wire), and one in each metal. I’ve bent all of them, most often catching them on a sweater or a purse, and have been able to bend them back into shape really easily without any change in the bracelet. It’s definitely the case that the ends won’t match up perfectly with wear over time, even without any major bends. But it’s only a matter of millimeters for me, and it doesn’t bother me. You also sort of get used to what it will catch on and adjust your behavior (I only have this issue with one purse I carry for some reason, I think because the straps are thinner).

That being said, I’ve noticed that Jenna Bush has a gold T wire bracelet and it’s majorly bent, but she doesn’t seem to ever bend it back into shape for some reason.

I wonder why this seems to be so common for the Tiffany T bracelets but is relatively rare for the carrier small juc. Aren’t they both hollow wire?
Maybe it's because the Cartier one is "aligned". There's no gap, that's what I'm trying to say. I think it's easier for the Tiffany bracelet to get bent because of the gap between the "T".

I bought one a few weeks ago and I bent it after a few days when I wasn't paying attention and catched it on the edge of a wall. But it's quite easy to get it back in shape, you just have to bend it to the other direction. Does that make sense?

I'm not sure if you should wear it 24/7. That's what I intended to do, too, for the same reason as yours. But my SA told me it's better to take it off daily since it may catch on something while you're sleeping. Maybe you could wear a wristband around it during the night so this couldn't happen..

I have not worn it enough even though I have it for a few years to tell if it will bent out of shape with constant taking on and off. I thought you can always reduce the risk by twisting it one way to put it on and then twisting it another way when taking it off, like kind of balance out the twist?
I don't recall my T wire bracelet bent out of shape in the early days of purchase but it finally did when I wore it during my travel and it got caught by my shopping bags without my notice. I have a LOT of shopping bags that time and they were heavy so... I subsequently tried to twist it back and it looks better now but the T is still misaligned. I find that acceptable and frankly I don't dare to twist it more in case I break it. I recently have it caught onto my bag handle again but I noticed it fast and could save it in time.

So more than worry about it bent due to putting on and taking off constantly, I will be more careful about it hooking onto bag.

Hi guys. Does anybody know if Tiffany &Co boutique will fix bent/ out of shape bracelet at no charge? I used to own one and sold it. Now my friend has some “shape” issues, but boutique is like 1.5 hour away. Thank you.

Tried it on today and loved the look but was very hesitant because of the weight. I also have a small JUC and can say that the sturdiness between the two are night and day. The JUC is light but always snaps back into place. The Tiffany T will definitely have to be realigned over time. I asked to try on a few and all of them came out slightly off. Also, I was pretty surprised that, between the 3 that I looked at, one was clearly lighter in weight than the others (the other two felt sturdier and like the bracelets would weigh more too). When I pointed it out to the SA, she agreed and had to check the price (she thought the heavier ones would cost more) - they were the same. I’m still considering it but I wouldn’t wear it as a 24/7 piece and I would have to go back to find the “heaviest” one possible.
