I agree with you guys. I’m thinking this piece isn’t really going to last me a long time as its not very classic, plus it doesn’t look that nice worn on its own. Luckily I phoned Tiffany and they accept return by post! Which is brilliant.

I’m now back to eyeing things up and seriously considering the bean (I think either 7 or 9mm but maybe 7mm would be too small again), or the Olive leaf pendant with a little diamond in it: https://www.tiffany.co.uk/jewelry/necklaces-pendants/paloma-picasso-olive-leaf-pendant-33419708/
does anyone have this piece and could show me a modelling shot!? Have been looking everywhere and finding it so hard to visualise what it looks like on!

The fluer de Lis key stem seems lovely too but again, couldn’t find any modelling pics though it looks like it would be tiny. Diamonds by the bay is too pricey (no small size available), open heart is a good option too but don’t know how I feel about hearts.

Any other suggestions I may be missing? I really want something that I could wear daily and not take off.

I’m a fan of the Open Heart pendant myself...it’s an old Tiffany classic and easy to dress up or down.

I agree with your return...if you’re going to spend that much money on something, you should be genuinely happy with it.

Honestly I’ve been looking at photos of the 7mm bean and always loved how it looked. Also love how it’s ambiguous to what it is - even looks like it could be a heart. But the SA talked me out of it and said not to get the 7mm as people buy it for their kids?! :/ But you may have convinced me to go ahead and get it !

I think the SA was needlessly inserting their own biases and ideas! I saw the bean as a celebration of new beginnings so I treated myself to the bean recently after adopting my dog Toby. But I don't think you need any reason to treat yourself to it. The occasion can be that you're practicing self care. :-) And yes! Many times it does look like a heart to me with the way the light hits it. It's so beautiful.

I have the small smile necklace and was also debating between small and mini in the store.

The SA advised that most people buy the mini size for layering and after trying both on (multiple times...), I agreed with her since the mini just looked .. too mini (sorry!) on me.

I went with the small size in RG and haven’t regretted it since! It really goes with all outfits for most occasions :)

I think it’ll depend on your skin tone. I have strong yellow undertones so the YG isn’t as flattering as RG. Personally I don’t find the RG to be too ‘pink’ either so I much prefer RG. I take mine off before showering and I believe the SA will also advise this but I have a friend who leave it on almost 24/7 and she’s experienced no trouble.
