Oooooh, lookie what I got! I just joined this club a couple of days ago when I got an S27 color block, primarily with nude pebble leather and smooth leather trim. Well, today I was in Lord & Taylor for Charity day and with my Charity pass and my L&T credit card savings, I snagged this color block S27 in glove tanned leather ("surplus," the olive green) with pebble leather in a pinky beige on the sides and chocolate brown smooth leather trim. Marked down from $550 to (with tax) $288. Yes!

Gorgeous! Congrats and enjoy!

Hi, was wondering if anyone knows the color code of the lilac coach swagger on the home page of the purse forum. Don't know if it is a 27 or the larger size but regardless I am interested in the color. It is not on the coach website and so was hoping someone here would know. Tia !

I know what bag you're talking about. I'm pretty sure it's the color puce that came out a few years ago. Not sure of the color code, but maybe another Coachie can chime in. This one is no longer on sale through Coach, but I've seen it pop up a few times on eBay. I'd LOVE to have that bag.

Hi I am new to this forum and need your opinions :) . At my work they have a program where I can purchase designer bags and other goods, and a reasonable amount is taken out of each paycheck (I get paid biweekly). I already took advantage of the program and bought a pebbled leather Prairie satchel in saddle brown and a Mercer 24 in Cerise (I like pink!), and 2 wallets to match. They have available the Swagger 21 and 27 in the saddle color and black. I saw both in person at Dillards and am in love with the Swagger 21, but those colors would not be my first choice. My dilemma is that I cannot afford to pay in cash and don't have credit, and would like to purchase it in black through the program. There isn't any interest and these will be paid off in a year. They're currently offering 20% off so I would be paying approximately $35.00 over retail price. Should I do it? I am one of those people that carries a bag for years until its falling apart or becomes impractical, like my MK crossbody bag with built in wallet that would open all the time and my stuff fell out...lol. Thank you!

Dear whatevany,
Welcome to the purseforum.
This is just my opinion. If you are looking to purchase the saddle swagger 21/27 at full price + $35, then inadvice to you is to hold off. The saddle 27 swagger has been on sale for $125 or something like that. My advice to you is to start saving exclusively for your favorite bag. Watch out for new ones on sale, window shop until you find a bag you absolutely love. Sometimes you can get lucky with great deals on eBay as well. Coach outlets sometimes have swaggers at a great price. I think you will be a lot happier if you bought something in bright color like your favorite pink. Since you already have a saddle I think you should pass. Enjoy your parade and Merced as your bag fund grows and then come summaryou will end up with of great options. Some of us here including myself have made implusive decisions and looking to trim down our bag collection. Very quickly you will end up with a lots and lots of bags and would not know what to do with them so please be 100 percent sure before you pull the trigger.

Hi daisyorange. Thank you for your advice and I've decided not go ahead with the purchase. Since I tend to carry the same bag for years and currently have 2 , I could not justify the extra expense at this moment. I do love my Mercer and will be bringing her out for our company party on Sunday. I like a lot and almost love my Prairie bag but she's a little too big for me, but I love the Saddle color and she's a classic piece that will last me for years! Thank you again and have a great day!:smile:

Kudos to you for resisting Whatevany, It must feel great. I can tell that you are already very wise. I wish i was like that sooner. There is a joy in trimming down excess and being guilt free. That mercer is a great color, soft leather and can hold quite a bit for its size. Both your bags will last long. That is the greatness of coach.
