Good morning!
Coach.com has some new colors of the Swagger 27. I've never had a Swagger (gasp, I know) but am considering it in the bronze color. However, the ratings on Coach.com are not good. Complaints about the cross body strap unhooking randomly, the snap closure for the zipper coming undone spilling your items out, etc. But then folks here seem to love their Swaggers...what the skinny??? Again, considering the 27...21 too small and all other sizes too large. Thanks in advance for your opinions and thoughts!

I have two 27s and love them. I think they're the perfect size handbag. The zipper can be annoying, but I rarely ever need to unzip mine the entire way in order for it to be the problem described in the reviews. I can't comment on the long strap, as I never use mine for cross body and normally leave it removed from my bags anyway. When I have used it, it's been as a shoulder strap and has never come unhooked. I'd suggest going to see the 27 in person and see what you think. I just went over to look at the new colors and the bronze looks really cute!

The 27 is the perfect size. I have 2 of them. I don't have the issues noted above-- however I keep the zipper unzipped. I always do that with bags as i don't like to have to keep opening/closing my bag. As for the crossbody strap, I typically use the swagger as a satchel, but I always shorten the Coach long crossbody straps so that they are a short shoulder length--and use it only for those moments I really need to be hands free. I have never had the strap unhook, so I am not sure what that issue is about. It seems to work fine. Good luck!

I have one 27 and love it. I do think it's a great size. However, I've had the problem with the shoulder strap coming off. It's happened about three times so far. Once, I was in a parking garage and was very happy it landed on it's feet. I'd have been very unhappy if it landed in an oil spill or something.....

I have two large 37 Swaggers, and the croc embossed navy did come unhooked once from its shoulder strap; the bag landed on the ground, but at least was completely unharmed. At that moment I was expecting the clasp to be broken, but it was actually fine. To date I wore the bag like 15+times, and it's only ever done that once. Coach is about one of the only companies I would risk anything; if something does happen, at least I know for sure I can take it back and get it replaced. Can't beat that customer service!

Sad to say I had to return my Chalk crocodile Swagger. I noticed a tiny spot on the front and when I looked close it had a faint cut in the leather. It looked like the tip of the box cutter glazed across it. My SA has ordered the black matte pebbled leather and the globe tanned black swagger for me. When they get here I have to decide which I like best

Sad to say I had to return my Chalk crocodile Swagger. I noticed a tiny spot on the front and when I looked close it had a faint cut in the leather. It looked like the tip of the box cutter glazed across it. My SA has ordered the black matte pebbled leather and the globe tanned black swagger for me. When they get here I have to decide which I like best

Oh no! So sorry to hear this. That chalk croc bag is so pretty. Keeping my fingers crossed you like one of the other two you ordered and that there are no defects! Be sure to post pics!

Thank you MDT!! I was sad!! But I've really wanted the black one too. I hope it's in great shape and love at first sight. I'll post pics when they get here. I may need help picking between the two LOL

I need your opinions!! As you know I had to return my chalk crock swagger due to a defect. My outlet SA ordered the pebbled black matte and the glove leather black swaggers for me. I couldn't decide which I liked better so I thought I would get them home and decide.

They arrived yesterday and I LOVE them both for different reasons!! I'm tempted to keep both. Ahahahhab

Obviously I'm going to say the black on black soft Swagger since I just got one! I like how the hardware is subdued yet still noticeable because it's shiny. That shiny black hardware is what does it for me. On the other hand, I loooove me some pebbled leather. For you, it may come down to whether or not you have a bag like either of these in your collection already. Do you already own a pebbled Swagger? If so, maybe keep the soft one.

I'm kind of in the same situation right now. I already had the pebbled black/light gold Swagger carryall and after getting the soft black on black version, I'm not sure if I should keep or sell the pebbled one. I don't feel like I'll use it as much now, but my husband got it for me for my birthday last year so it has sentimental value.

Thanks MDT!! This is so hard!!! No I don't have a pebbled swagger. I love pebbled leather too and the matte hardware with it gives it an edgy biker chic look which I LOVE! BUT the smooth leather with the shiny hardware have a fresh chic via. To me, they give a different vibe!!!

I don't know how you are going to pick between your too. Especially since one was a gift from you husband. Good luck on your decision. I've got them sitting on the table where I will see them constantly. I'm waiting on that "new bag" feeling to subside and see what I think then. LOL
