To those of you that own the black on black swagger, how has the hardware held up so far? I'm curious if you think the black coating could chip off easily.

I bought mine last year - when they were just released. Hardware still looks perfect! Infact, there aren't even any slight scratches that would normally appear over time.

I'd never noticed any, but just went to pull her out to make sure I didn't miss any...... Have to say - I'm impressed! Hardware has held up very well!

Thanks for the help!
I was worried about the hardware and considering returning it and buying the one with rivets even though I got the matte for a great deal.

You've got me contemplating the rivets now:smile1:I love the look of that one - however - I bought the chalk rivets last season - and it's probably the heaviest bag I own! MSRP was either $795 or $895 (I did get it with PCE). I'm wondering if the new black is lighter, as most of the swaggers now are. It's $595 - which makes me think it is the new lighter/softer pebbled leather. I wish Coach put the weight of bags on their website, like Nordstrom does! May try to get into a boutique to try it on before PCE ends.

I've had mine for about 6 months and the hardware also looks new. I also have the wallet and do see a tiny bit of wear on one of the turnlocks...maybe because that is more functional and the hardware on the bag is more decorative.

Black "27". She's gorgeous but too small for me. She's going back.

It never even crossed my mind about the rivets being heavier. Cut the tags a bit ago and wore it shopping. Got so many compliments it was crazy! I love it so much I may need the rivets too if it's not too heavy.
