i believe SS first had skin cancer, as well as endometrial hyperplasia, in her twenties, then breast cancer. She had surgery and radiation, but she was against the use of chemo. I wonder if she had chemo when she was younger whether that would have made a difference.

Ive had a hysterectomy and am in my mid fifties. My Dr and GYN agreed that I should be on a small version of HRT (basically a mini bc pill) to help with some issues. It’s not for everyone, but I would say consult with your dr. I do tend to think when celebrities promote the next best thing, that they are not the most responsible, but not sure it had much to do with the reoccurrence of her breast cancer. JMO though, and of course I would welcome correction from someone better versed :smile:

I had chemo, surgery, and radiation with my breast cancer. I will say this, the chemo side effects landed me in the hospital three times, once was in ICU. I wasn't sure I would even last long enough to have surgery. But as bad as things got I believe it helped save my life. I am as of now over 6 years cancer free but I still take a daily prescribed pill to help me along. My dr. said I can stop taking them in September 2027, if I am still around.
