Congrats, nice catch. I also see that the paper bag they use in the outlet are same as FP - orange color. Interesting, I didn't know that. I need to check out the outlets again.

The packaging at the full price store changed a while back. It's brown, a milk chocolate brown. I guess they must have given their excess red bags to the outlet.

That's funny, and another Coach inconsistency, our outlet would either refuse to sell something like this at all our sell at FP. They did that with the Boroughs and Phoebes originally, if a return came in. Phoebes they sold at FP, Boroughs, they refused to sell at all.

I'd be willing to bet the SA's had no CLUE what that bag was. I find my outlet SA's to be completely clueless about current FP styles.

Yup my outlet was talking about how they got heaps and heaps of the old FP red shopping bags when the colors were changed, and were trying to get through them.

Sometimes they get it right. I found a Sullivan Hobo on the shelf at my outlet right after that bag was launched at FP. Clearly someone had returned it to the outlet. I had them scan it for a price, and she was like "Oh! This isn't supposed to be here...there's no price for it in our system and we're supposed to send it back to the FP store". That's what SHOULD happen...but we know it often doesn't.

When my outlet gets hot bags they go to the SA's. They got the boroughs and fp phoebes before they hit the shelves. Perks of being an employee. It's kinda nice to have outlet SA's that share my passion for fp items though.

I am surprised they sold it at 50% off. I thought when they got a full price bag in, that was still in full price that the only way they could sell it was for the current price. You one lucky gurllllll!
