Yep, i have a red mark across the bridge of my nose for a few minutes. Sometimes I'll take my sunglasses off a little bit before I get where I'm going to give it time to fade. And I rub it to make it go away, that probably doesn't help, but it's makes me feel like I'm doing something.

Lol, I do that too.:D

Oh man, whenever I went swimming I always had to wear goggles and afterwards I'd get horrific circles right round my eyes!! That was always embarrassing.

And yes, I wear glasses normally and they always leave marks on my nose - one side is worse than the other, which makes me think that the weight balance isn't quite right.

omg, i just lamented to DH few days back as most of the new sunnies i hve bought have left awful red marks on my nose... i am so 'glad' to find this thread & know that i am not alone!!!

anybody out there that knows the reason why we get these marks??? is it because we simply buy the wrong frames tt do not fit our noses (due to a wide or high bridge)????

i noticed my tom ford whitneys do not give me this problem (since the frame hugs my face rather than sit on my nose bridge)

Wow, sunnies never fit me well! They always leave some sort of "surprise" on my face. I find that I have to take them off before I get somewhere too, to give my marks time to fade LOL. I think it's because I'm Asian and don't have a bridge?

..............u need to go to your opticians with the specs and they will adjust them for you
if your just buying them online your not getting good quality service and they are not adjusted to fit you. also it can be because ur wearing them wrong.
dont put them on and push them as far as they go.
try resting them so they are not square to ur face.x

Ya, those glasses just don't fit you. Your good neighborhood optician can adjust if they "almost" work. And re the Asian nose, somewhere there is even a thread about glasses made especially to fit different bridge shapes

^^
Take them to an optometrist!! Really, this works, unless the glasses don't fit your face in the first place. They have heat and water equipment that reshapes the glasses. I had a pair fixed today.

And it's best to choose your sunglasses and prescription frames with your optometrist. They can tell you if a style is never going to sit quite right on your face, even if you like the look of it in the mirror.
