Summer 2008 Sale Locations/Dates?

Boston Private Sale is July 28-29. It opens to the public July 30 to August 2. It's RTW, shoes, hats, and gloves.
Probably a silly question but I'm still new to H and learning... :shame:I'm not sure why the NY sale is so late...maybe to "adjust" the sale prices to account for the price INCREASES!! I am always suspicious when they change the dates...could be because of the venue. Yuck!! Anyhoo, the NY sale is so so so much fun. I'm trying to get my tpf friends go come with me!! Oh, I may have to have emergency dental work that day to get off work!! Avandome...u with me on that one?
NY Sale will be held at Madison or Wall Street or both?
I've never been to one and would love to go, any advice? I won't have an invitation so only the public one is an option... I'd assume the lines start hours before the store opens...? How much off the sale items usually are...?

Hmmm, not sure about that.. typically H does one sale for 3 days then it's over. I don't think there's a further markdown... There was about 3 rolling racks of RTW, some shoes (most of the RTW and shoes were shown in Jag's sale thread, they just had different colors), men's dress shirts, and some bucket hats. HTH!
Thanks! I'm new to the H sales. We just had one here in OC and BH will have one in a few weeks. BTW, can you recommend a good SA there in LV? I'd feel better going in with a name to ask for....Thanks!!
twillys won't be on sale to my knowledge, it's only RTW.
purple, the 1st is the start of the public sale, if you visit often enough you can ask about when the invite only is.
for LV H, all the SAs i've seen have been great.... but I did spend a lot there my first visit. the only name that comes to mind is Amanda (the only card I got) but seriously, they're all wonderful and they have a good variety of past season accessories.
