That necklace looks SO good on you!
Oddly, I wasn't a big fan when I saw photos of the nevklace by itself, but it apparently needs to be worn to show its true beauty

I love that pendant. Years ago, I almost bought the entire set: pendant, ring and earrings but I ended up getting a Rolex.
Interesting. I heard some people said they have problems either larger diamonds. Will check it out during my next trip. Hope it'll be fine!
When I first started my research, I had my eyes on the these collections: Cartier Love, Cartier JUC, Cartier Diamond Collection (Diamants Légers, C De Cartier), and VCA Alhambra.
But I guess platinum is always a better choice. Is that right? White gold got that rhodium plating and I heard you need to get them re-plated every 1-1.5 years.

The flower necklace looks beautiful on you! And it matches the flowers on your dress. Didn't see it from Tiffany website, but I'll keep it in mind when I go to a store.
Thanks for your suggestions JessicaRabbit1. I thought about Tiffany T necklace, but it only comes in Silver or 18K Yellow/Rose/White Gold.
Victoria necklace and DBTY looks more "simple" and "modern" to me (compare to the heart and flower). Will see how they looks like on me when I get to the store.
Not all white gold is plated. The plain Cartier Love Bracelet does not have a plating, however it will grey overtime.
I don't know if the Alhambra is rhodium plated.
Platinum is a superior metal to white gold because it never wears away.
It really all depends on what you are looking to purchase. Did you want a necklace or bracelet?
I have platinum pieces from Tiffany and a yellow gold Love Bracelet. I love all my pieces. My hubby likes the fact that I wear the Love Bracelet all the time and get tons of use.
As for Van Cleef, I bought an VCA yellow gold 10 motif and this has become my primary necklace.
When it comes to customer service, Tiffany is far superior to the other brands.

When it comes to versatility then I would go for a diamond pendant. It will be the easiest to take care of and goes with everything.

xxI recommend the victoria pendent. I think it is very modern and simple while it has an impact. You can also easily dress up and down with it. I wear mine casually most of time. (Btw I have Dbty necklace 0.43 in yg but I don't usually feel the poking unless I try to press it hard on my skin. But it could bother some people I guess.)
Haha I got a bunch of jewelry like the necklace and love bracelet, now the Rolex is on my list!
Depends on the jewelry piece. I wear mostly white gold and they still looks shiny white even after years of wearing them everyday. Even to the swimming pool! I also have a ring in platinum but prefer the shinier look of the white gold. It is quite cheap ($50 cdn) to get white gold serviced (polish, tighten claws and re plating.) Whereas the platinum ring was about $80 because it is a harder metal to work with and few gold smiths can do it on premises.
A well made of jewelry (with the proper alloy %) should last generations. Have fun when you go to the store. When you try on the necklaces, take a step back and look at it with your entire face & shoulder to get a proper idea as to how it looks on you (from the perspective of another person standing in front of you in a normal conversation distance.)
