I love my Reed Krakoff RK40. It is similar in style to the Sac, but it has a slouchier leather and more relaxed feel. I'm not sure if it meets your needs, but definitely check it out if you two go shopping!! I have the medium size in brown .

Personally, I don't like the YSL Sac de Jour. I think the other bags mentioned in this thread are much more expensive looking.

It's made in France and It's available in different colours and combos.....
The brand is known for Its wonderful leathers and designs.

Beautiful bag. I looked at their web site and they have many very nice items. My only concern is taxes into the US. I have no idea what they would be.
