I ordered a single handle Burberry title bag and sent it right back - SO heavy. No, unfortunately not. I was looking at the Burberry small title with two handles (open top, small enough to be carried crossbody, nice shade of beige), but it does not convince me and I am not sure about Burberry‘s production principles (but that probably applies to all the classic fashion houses).
Please share if you come across something!
As for the beige dilemma, funny you should mention it, because I have also been toiling over this issue for the last 2 weeks. I have a Givenchy small horizon in mastic, but it is a bit on the grey side and fairly impractical due to its rigidity (though I LOVE the shape). I had been looking at the YSL dark latte medium envelope or mini Lou, but didn't pull the trigger. I do like the medium envelope and have it in navy/silver HW, but it is a very dressy bag and not that versatile. Mini Lou seems too small. Love Valentino poudre color, but it's not really beige and I have concerns about the bag looking dated. Ended up ordering a Celine C bag (I know, very controversial with Hedi Slimane changes...) in light camel and a Boyy Karl 24 in ecru. Waiting for them to arrive. I suspect the Celine will be too dark, but maybe the Boyy will fit the ticket? Wondering if I should have just gotten a Celine micro belt in light taupe - it's a beautiful color in YouTube videos, but haven't seen one in person. I just didn't want another belt bag since I already have 3. Of course, the master of color is always Hermes, but there is no way I'm going to shell out that much for a light colored bag; I'm trying to keep it reasonable with the pricing (ha - "reasonable" - no spending is what's truly reasonable) for a bag that's at high risk for color transfer or visible marks. Glad to hear I'm not alone in my beige frustrations!
