But for a lot women, or me at least, there's the DSS (Diamond Shrinkage Syndrome) the older you get. Maybe it has to do with poorer eyesight.
You don't HAVE to, but you may WANT to. There are no rules that state you should wear a certain size at 20 then a larger size at 30 and even larger at 40. It's a matter of personal taste. Can you explain this more, I'm not sure I understand it. Thanks!
I think what Evekitti is trying to say is, the older you become the more "entitled" you are to larger stones!!!
Poor eyesight?? Nah.....it's all relative!!! But it makes one hell of a good excuse!
I thought I was pretty clear. Ok let me try to be clearer. You don't HAVE to increase the size of your stud earrings as you grow older. But you may WANT to because of many reasons, for example, you are exposed to bigger more beautiful diamonds, you have more experience with buying jewellery, you start to appreciate diamonds more than costume jewellery, you are financially more well-off than in your early 20s so you can afford bigger etc.
Forsyte, are you thinking of upgrading your diamond studs? We can help if you need a little "persuasion".![]()
Keen observation Forsyte!
