Hi! How about the Victoria line from Tiffany. You could get her the small or medium earrings. There is also a matching pendant, and there is a gorgeous eternity ring which looks great worn on the ring hand.

You may want to look at the Victoria collection. It is iconic Tiffany, they cut their own marquise diamonds and they sparkle like crazy.

I like Victoria far more than DBTY for diamonds.

Good luck!

I have considered Tiffany Victoria and will be recommending it to my wife. Do you feel their stud earrings could be everyday earrings?

Yes. Absolutely, especially if you get the small size. I prefer the medium but she should try it on because it depends on her ear lobe. The large was way too big on me and hung below my ear lobe which I did not like and before I tried them on, I thought for sure I wanted the large. She may even like the mini. They are very sparkly and catch the eye. They are a classic but they are unique and iconic Tiffany.

My opinion is that diamond studs are too “common”. There is nothing special about them anymore. I rarely wear mine. Studs used to be special, but now...Everyone has studs... real or fake. Large or small. I see teenagers with jumbo “diamond” studs, as well as ladies with tiny studs, so literally, it’s nothing special. It may be that I already have them though but I will say this, if all my pieces of jewelry, my studs are my least favorite.

I wear pearls studs a lot more. If she is interested pearls, i would recommend Mikimoto (I am a name brand person also). Mikimoto pearls have gorgeous luster, and pearl studs just lights up a person’s face and make them glow.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

By the way, if you do try on the Victoria earrings, be sure to also try on the pendant in case you wish to get the pendant also or at a later date. The pendant also comes in different sizes so it would be good to try different combos on to determine which you like the best.

Hi,

I have several questions about diamond stud earrings for my wife. We have been married for five years, and I have bought my wife several pieces of jewelry over the that time period, and one thing I have found out about her is she prefers brand name (Tiffany, De Beers, Cartier) stuff to the Blue Nile, Brian Gavin pieces I have bought her. She is well aware that I can get her equal to better quality diamonds for a fraction of the price, but she still prefers the Designer pieces, which is fine with me. I believe jewelry should make her feel special, and she is fine getting smaller diamonds from Designer brands as we only have so much money to spend on jewelry.

I'm figuring my budget is about $5,000 to $6,000. I'm guessing that would get me around .5 total carat weight (.25 per earring) stud earrings from Tiffany or Cartier. From those of you who have recently purchased is that accurate? My wife is small, about 5'5 125 lbs which delicate features, so she could wear smaller jewelry pieces without them looking insignificant, but my question is .5 total carat weight earrings, or whatever I could get with my budget too small? We are also in the market for a diamond necklace (maybe Tiffany Diamonds by the Yard). Would it be better to buy that piece now and wait until we could afford larger diamond stud earrings? She is 34 years old. I've also thought maybe we could give the smaller ones to our daughter when she gets older and upgrade my wife at that time as well.

Finally, I'd like some thoughts on the various stud earrings Cartier and Tiffany offer. I really like the C de Cartier stud earrings. Does anyone have them and like them at the size I could afford. We also like the Tiffany four prong platinum earrings and then the Diamonds by the yard stud earrings as well. What are people's thoughts about those? Thanks for your help!

I undersrant how your wife thinks as im like her.
Regarding diamond earing studs it is a great choice as she can wear them daily and enjoy them.
And i guess with your budget you can find realy nice onces from Tiffany .
What I suggest, tell your wife that you like to get her diamonds earing with this budget and let her go and try diffferent pairs to see which she love most.
And it’s not only the size that matters but also, the clarity , color and how she feels when she wears them. My husband wanted to get stud diamond earings from Tiffany and I chose a smaller one as i loved it more on me.
A jewlery sales lady once said “ the diamond will speak to you “ and i guess that’s true.

So, my advice is to take her and let her choose.

Wow you seems to be so detailed with such thoughtfulness! I guess with such budget you could really get a good pieces of diamonds studs from any brand names. It depends which brand she really likes and which cut or type (bezel/solitaire/shapes) of studs she is interested in.
I personally like Tiffany Victoria it is more unique than the dbty for Earrings but a dbty as a necklace looks classy! Or the latest range; Tiffany Circlet! I’ve tried it on, it looks brilliant with its tiny little detailed diamonds circling the center one.
