Personally I liked the way the strobe cream looked on my own skin more than the liquid. It had a prettier shimmer that worked for my skin tone and I liked the texture of the cream, too. I still found it light. I tried both and ended up getting the cream and have been happy with it. I use it on my cheeks and it gives it a nice, light glow.
