What a great and sexy style to welcome in the new year! I’ve never done it myself but have always loved the idea of just a classic trench coat alone with a pair of sexy heels. Must feel great fun. Those super stockings finish off this outfit beautifully!

I usually try to avoid the click clacking of metal heel tips but with lots of walking to do it was the only option.
The NYE crowds drowned out most of the heel clatter though.

The metal tips are very noisy and a little less comfortable than the plastic/rubber heel tips. They are super durable but can also ruin wood and tile interior floors. Better for mostly outside wearing...I don't wear them that often.

Thanks Mieri!!! For a rainy NYE, a trench coat was an easy option. The Black Patent So Kates with the metal tips are my 2nd backup pair and are already well worn so I wasn't worried about getting them damaged or wet.

Merci Allen’s are such awesome heels. All 130’s with their extra height look fantastic but there’s just something (I can’t quite put my finger on) extra sexy about this model. Really like the colour tone and denier of your stockings.

This is such a cute casual outfit. I’m loving that skirt. I wore a front split knee length pencil skirt once but spent a lot of the time having to be very careful how I sat down :love:! This denim skirt is so nice! Your bright and cheerful Geo’s matching your jumper are just perfect for a lovely outfit.
