Thanks! It is new . I used the facebook discount in december and got it for 25% off coach.com. I know many prefer vintage leather but this feels the same to me as my vintage city bag. This bag will look good for years, my city bag still looks great.
One thing that sold me was years ago my city bag got rained on. A few minutes later it dried and looked like nothing happened. I had a different designer bag around the same time get rained on and left with water marks.

Oh this brings back such sweet memories. In Minneapolis, in the mid 70s I was downtown and walked into a little boutique and there before my very eyes was a stewardess bag. I lifted up the flap and I was dazzled. I have an absolute weakness for shoulder bags. I thought to myself if I had a bag like that I would never need another one (what a laugh). Long story short I still have the one I bought in 1979. It looks like what Jill Claybourg(sp) carried in An Unmarried Woman. A classy lady with a classy bag!. To this day whenever I see someone carrying this bag I still get a catch in my breath. Enjoy this bag for many, many years.

What a great story, thanks for sharing. I like that this bag has been around for so long and still looks good.
