Ladies, i just got my selma studded black, which is very nice. But the michael kors stamping is not in line. I'll attach pics so u'll know what i'm talking about. It kinda bothers me and thinking of returning it but it also difficult to get one. Any suggestions? What would u do? ImageUploadedByPurseForum1390559340.475127.jpg

@angela, actually it's the H that's out of line.
@acm, i got it from a local boutique and i didn't really realise it then, but when i took a closer look at home then i saw it.
Anyway, i think i'll see for a few days if i can put up with it. It's not that obvious, only if u take a closer look then u can see it.

I encountered this issue recently when I was at Macy's looking at the Selma bags. I saw a very cute Luggage color, but the letters were really crooked. I even mentioned it to the sales person and she kind of shrugged it off like that was not unusual. Needless to say, the sales person brought out a brand new one from the back wrapped in tissue and I inspected it from top to bottom before walking out the store with it. I chose the coffee color one :) After doing a search on this forum... it seems like others have encountered this issue as well. I can not comment whether or not you should return it... it is a personal preference thing. Some people do not mind it and some can't sleep at nights knowing it's crooked. If it bothers you, then you should return it or else it will eat you alive :( Good luck and I hope this goes the way you hoped it will go.

Well, i decided to keep the bag since finding another one would take forever. My local boutique only has very limited choices.
@designerdeals, i took a look at lord & taylor and it seems the stamping also crooked. And i don't live in the US, so getting a bag from the US is quite a hassle. I have to deal with customs which can cost about the same as the bag's price :(

Sorry for joining in late but is this a common issue with mk bags? I have been looking at videos and photos of the studded selma medium messenger for the whole day. And I found that most bags in the photos (even the ones on mk official site), have uneven spacing between the studs (like they are not properly in line). Some studs are even not in the right angle. I was going to order one online so my question is is this a common problem? Or am I just being ocd about it? TIA

No, you aren't being OCD about it. Like other ladies have mentioned, we pay money for these bags so we want them to be nice!

I think it is a (annoying) common issue with the bags. I've already had to switch two bags (mini selma and large messenger selma) AND a wallet due to the darn letters!

From the photos it seems that the problem is more serious on smaller bags, but I really like the studded messenger style...however with studs it seems to me that the chance of something going wrong is doubled (the studs AND the letters) maybe I'll just have to try my luck, order one online and see what happens 😏😏
