Hi ladies am tiking of ordering from ssense.com and hope you can share with me your experience with this online portal.

I did a search on them in the forum and read mixed review about the site. Some says its legit while others mentioned a worse off quality compared to similar items.

Thus will really appreciate more feedback/comments on ssense.com
Many thanks in advance

Well, I honestly have no experience with this site, but I can tell you that when I personally am trying to decide whether or not to purchase from a site, I typically steer clear if I see mixed/negative reviews... Good luck!

Ssense is legitimate and fine to shop with. They carry new, authentic products from popular brands, so I'm not sure how the quality could be worse than other sites? The problem with them is they are understaffed and often will not respond to emails and calls, and voicemail will be full. However, if you are persistent and reach them they are friendly and fair, e.g., if you could not reach them for a return auth they will not be strict about the return timeframe. I only buy from them if I can't find an item or discount anywhere else, which does happen quite a bit as they have great codes particularly for Black Friday.

thanks to all for taking the time to reply to this thread. Appreciate all your inputs. I have taken the plunge and ordered from ssense. So far the customer service has been really helpful and responsive with no delay in dispatch after verification of my first order placed. I like that ssense still carries some of the items that have alridi sold out in my size elsewhere.

My experience with ssense has been positive thus far and certainly looking fwd to my delivery!

Yeah I bought some stuff there and they were fine, the CS was unattainable like everyone else said. Plus sometimes they give out a 30% off promos which is awesome. Sign up for their mailer and wait for it!

Ssense is worth it if you wait for the promo codes. Shipping is great if you live in Canada since it's a Canadian company. The boots in my avatar are actually purchased from Ssense. I was worried about sizing and the cs was so fantastic because they actually let me "hold" the smaller size until I got the ones I purchased just to make sure they fit!!!

I'm really surprised to hear any quality issues since it's all branded items-DBF and I order from ssense quite often and never have any issues. We've both ordered Mackage jackets from them, and DBF has ordered a few pairs of shoes from them too. Super happy with everything.

Their quality's good but their deals can be hit or miss. They do not offer many coupon codes and even though I reside in Canada, sometime it's still cheaper to buy off of US sites.

They do not offer price match from sites in the US that have canadian currency and they will look to see whether you are a Canadian customer. I think they think that if you are Canadian and with out limited selection up here, we are getting a better deal from them even if they jack up their price. They jack-up certain prices due to importing however I don't think all of their prices are justified. I bought a marc jacobs scarf from neiman marcus for $112.00 total with shipping, tax/customs included while they still wouldn't price match the same scarf. Ssense's "sale" price was $165 (without tax).

I would like to support Canadian businesses but only if they keep up with competition. So yes, depending on where you live and where they set their original price, you can get deals from them.
