The chips have been in bags for a couple of years now. I was using my Montaigne yesterday from 2019 (with date code) and my CA scanned it with his phone and the chip scanned. Just a fun little FYI I learned yesterday. All they have is an app on their phone and then something in the phone is able to scan the chip, but as proven yesterday it’s really a hassle trying to do it.

for anyone who has received or seen the gradient blue canvas pieces, do you find that the blue is true to the product info page on the website or is it darker? the photos i have seen here seem to show a bit more medium blue, while the website shows more of a pool blue, sort of turquoise. would love to hear how it looks irl.

pink speedy has arrived and i have to say it is as beautiful as the lovely photo above by that gorgeous swimming pool!
i did want to mention a few things . not sure if they have been mentioned elsewhere:
the strap came in 2 pieces , not 3
the inside pocket is attached, not a separate flap
no d ring
the outside stamp says made in france but the inside one just says louis vuitton paris.
just a beautiful bag and would recommend in pink for any who are on the fence. i was torn between pink and brume/mist. still think the brume is beautiful altho i have not seen it in person. wish i could get them both but..... lol

Thank you for the review! I ordered both and will post pics when they arrived. Initiallay I was sold on the mist speedy, but my DH liked pink & yellow. After seeing pics, I think he’s right!

oohhh exciting!! i look forward to hearing your thoughts when they both arrive. this collection is seriously gorgeous. i am still thinking about the mist speedy too. must not cave. must not cave. probably wouldn't find it anyway. ( i had it in my cart but did not click because i'd ordered the pink one and just couldn't swing both right now) i am really enjoying hearing everyone's thoughts on all of these. keep us posted!

I noticed that too. I guess the original owners picked off the extras from their (probably multiple) purchases to keep or sell individually. I am not sure about the microchips. I've read stores won't have a machine to track these chips, but probably for internal use (like to have a bag scanned for repair, etc.)....who knows ? And I doubt the info they get will truly be known to us. I don't like it. Then again, I don't like wearing technology I can't control myself.....

When I was in the boutique the last few times, my CA showed me how they scan bags with their phones. They place it inside, and when it “reads” it gives all ID info on the bag.

IMO it’s a true pool blue, true to the website photos, definitely not dark.

Hi everyone, I just bought the mens watercolour blue tote PM and BTP kirigami set, decided to post some comparison pics in case someone wanted to know..Comparing the snap on pouch to the TP26 and neverfull mm pouch.
And the mens tote PM to the neverfull MM. its around the same size but slightly wider at the base, as the neverfull tapers in a bit more. Hope this is useful!

Btw the snap on pouch can fit a ipad! the zipper just about zips with the ipad case on. I think the snap on pouch is much nicer than the neverfull pouch, though theres no way to attach a strap. It’d be beautiful as a clutch!

Yes! Sold out online in the US, but try the stores or stalk the website in case some stock becomes available.
