You must have a really good relationship with your AD to be able to score a SS Daytona. I don't have any contacts and whenever I ask about the waiting list, I feel like as if they're laughing at me for even asking, making me feel so dumb! How can one score a SS Daytona anyways??

I think the demand for the SS Daytona has slowed down a bit and its relatively easier now to get one. Just go around and tell them that you have the money ready and ready to make a purchase on the day. I'm sure they'll "try their best"
.I was on the waiting list from my two ADs, one called me on Thursday and another one called me on Saturday...LOL obviously the slower one lost!

LOL...that's so funny. I do the same thing. Mine never leaves my wrist either.
Not to hijack the thread or anything, but I came across this when I was on the site. It's a reputable reseller, and for those who have trouble finding the SS Daytona, it's not really marked up at all! Says brand new too!

^It was, but Rolex has now increased their prices 6-8%. Even when its retail was $10400, I couldn't find a single AD to give it at that price or even do their usual tax-free option if mailed out of state. My brother paid $11500+ earlier this year. So after the price increase, and taxes, that price isn't too bad. At least if there's someone who doesn't want to wait.
