@LKBNOLA , I thought the FetP was too close to Paisley before seeing the comparison pictures. Paisley is also more flattering, has more colors. The gris chine FetP doesn't convince me. I loved the petrol Grand Tralala on the website but find this tone of blue a little rigid on you. Perhaps, a looser knot would be better. Hopefully, I am no fun spoiler but since there is still lots of room for variety in your cashmere collection, I would send the FetP back. You are beautiful no matter what scarf you wear.

@LKBNOLA that Tralala is gorgeous. I know what you mean about gold, I struggle with it also. But I am loving this on you. It is so classic in all its ties. My college colors are blue and gold so I really love the scarf. BUT I also love the Maron color this season. So I have no idea if you can have both because that Is a tough choice. Agree above, with thinking that blue is year round whereas that Maron feels more autumn winter.

I drool over your paisley. Its perfect on you( and for me if I could add another csgm lol). So my two cents is with this one which is just perfect in all its colors, and the FT feminine serene pink/peach one, then the FleursP in cw 4 might just be too similar Colorwise. Those corals, oranges, peaches…Maybe. Tough to say without a side by side pic.

So that leaves you with this red/blue fleursP. Which I love in your tie with the blue all up by your face and the red ties hanging. But not sold because every tie isn’t working for me, so I have to learn to say no if I love it more in certain ties And not others. My own rule, so that’s a me thing. Also, I have gris chin on my Samourais. I would never own another gris chin. One is enough. Spread the love is my motto. So if paisley is gris chin, then do you need another. ( which I saw above you said prob not and so I agree).
I think what I said makes sense lol. Hard when still new to new designs

Y'all are the best. I agree @Maedi and @Foxy trini about the triangle. I am certainly going to return because a) I don't love every tie and b) I am reaching the conclusion that gris chine is an iffy base color that does not always work and c) too close to the warmer Paisley Blossom. The SA has ordered the triangle in cw13 (naturel/rouge); I hope that it will be the one because I love the format and do not own this lovely design. I really need the triangle to have a bit of blue for my wardrobe. Thank you @Nomad for the Paisley Blossom love. I think of it as my "starter" CSGM and it is very forgiving that way! I'm going to try the blue Tralala in different ties and hopefully not such gloomy light in hopes it may show itself more truly. Thank you all for your generous comments and advice.

Hi everyone. Posting photos today of Grand Tralala #28 petrole/blanc/gold. I am crazy for #19-- the marron glace that @Croisette7 has, but I love this blue-- it really lights up, I think. Its even a horrible grey rainy day... I am always somewhat allergic to H gold-- it can be marvelous or ...just a lot on me, but this is very light and bright and quite summery. Also posting mod shots of the Fleurs et Papillons in 06-- I already have purchased Faubourg Tropical in the cw11 pink/peach so I am hesitant about the beautiful 04 that has been posted. All thoughts and opinions gratefully received. Both #19 Grand Tralala and the triangle in 04 have been ordered and I will be in the boutique before the return window closes on these. I have time to decide.

Le Premier Chant by Sophia Andreotti and Edouard Baribeaud is my first Hermès scarf of the 2022 Spring/Summer collection. Usually Hermès posts a “story behind” explanation about the meaning of the design, but so far Hemès has not provided a text.

I thought some may be interested in my interpretation of the design. If anyone wishes to quote or use any part of this text, all I ask is that you please credit me.

Le Premier Chant by Sophie Andreotti and Edouard Baribeaud

Hermès wonderful carré, Le Premier Chant, (The First Song), designed by Sophia Andreotti and Edouard Baribaud for its Spring/Summer 2022 collection is not only a festival of color and beautiful patterns, but a design full of deep meaning and symbolism.

The illustration depicts a young woman in her room adorned by beautifully patterned

@Living.la.vida.fifi I have so enjoyed your interpretation of Le Premier Chant, and I’ve thought of it when I look at the scarf here and on H.com. I imagine you already know, but in case you haven’t seen it, Eduoard Baribeaud has starting sharing some of his inspiration for this artwork on his IG account this month:

Thank you for sharing this! If only that cw is made into a CSGM next year ...

So my husband just got this for me . Debating whether to keep it or exchange. Wanted a versatile shawl/scarf in blue shade.
Thoughts ? Thank you

It’s lovely! But I am biased, as I love leopards and the Gris Chiné (?) background colour works well for me ;)
Its hard to go wrong with any of the shawls. My preference at this size is for more intricate designs, just due to the scale, but that’s entirely subjective. The colour combination on this one should be quite versatile. I like that it has a cooler half and a warmer one. It should work well with lots of different colours.
If you love it, and it suits you, that’s what matters!
