Went to Madison this morning. Unfortunately no Hermès Story yet, but it’s coming. They had several colorways of the Faubourg Tropical shawl, but they didn't grab me in person.

They have 5 or 6 colorways of Premier Chant, and tbh for me it was a bit disappointing. There were a few colorways I liked flat, but not so much when tied. I think eventually I will end up with the light blue/green colorway because the variety of colors isn't so jarring on me when tied. However, there was one colorway of Sous l'Egide de Mars I havent previously seen which was hanging out in a drawer, and that did the trick for me. Bonus: when it was folded and tied, I realized that it's the same pretty gray as my bedroom wall, lol.

Also was able to get a pair of the only twillies I knew in advance would be a must: the black Grand Theatre Nouveau.

Never has a scarf taken so long. i am really happy with this beautiful pinky brown/blue combination and the silver armor is just gorgeous. I will try to take some shots in better light and with actual ties.

The short answer is whichever one works for you. I had Le Premier Chant in aqua 01 and vieux rose 03 (the rose modeled so beautifully here by @Living.la.vida.fifi ) and they are both gorgeous scarves. But I pulled out 6 tops at random and none of them worked with the aqua, and they all looked quite lovely with the rose. I was surprised that the silver in the aqua did not play well with my gray sweaters, which is why I picked it in the first place. So back it went.
