Here are some additional photos in natural light. I would say the background is more of a light taupe, with slate blue/gray. I wasn’t sure about it when I ordered but now I really love it!
This is my last shawl for this season: Horizon Stole in Rose! 200 x 100 cm of the softest, lightest pure cashmere… Perfect for cooler moments in summer. 
I struggled with the colours as shown on H.com, so I will share some pix here to possibly help those considering this stole (the mod pic is not doing this beauty justice. I usually wear it as a stole but am, unfortunately, not able to take selfies of this style):

Is this another new color of Index Bromeliaceae? I don't think I would have missed that gorgeous lavender border (or perhaps it is deep rose?)
I adore the rose fane color, and recently purchased another scarf that showed up with that background. I wonder if they finally got around to opening the can of faded pink ink?

I posted this one and the Plumets et Panaches with the rose fane background (post 2610 on 1st June). I bought them to contrast & compare after getting the rose fane Isola di Primavera (thanks to your heads up!) I didn’t keep this Index or the Plumets as they didn’t grab me in the same way as Isola with its more energetic pattern.
Excellent. Thank you for showing photos of the scarf folded. I don't have a Katie Scott design yet, so I decided to give this a try. I'm pretty sure these colors are in my wheelhouse.

Yes this silver grey one appears to be a late addition to availability. I gave up looking for this design months ago because the hot colours I found attractive came with polka dots but I really need to see this achingly cool one. My SAs have complained that getting stock for the Spring Summer season has been more than usually hit and miss.

Yes, I used fusible interface on both the ribbon weave & the hat lining. This made quite a stiff fabric to get the needle through both basting & machine sewing. I needed both a brand new sharp needle & a thimble to protect my finger when basting the pieces & on my sewing machine. If you want more details PM me.
