I bet they pinned the scarf for the photos. Something we would never do. I've read that they use clothespins when photographing clothing catalog models to make the clothes fit better. Again, no one walks around with clothespins up their back.

My SA sent me this! Limited edition for Queen of England’s platinum jubilee. 
Intriguing pattern & unusual colours - quite different from the other anniversary scarfs. Thankfully not my "cup of tea" - which is a good thing since it won't ever reach the "edges of the Commonwealth" anyway (although she is Queen of each Commonwealth country in her own right and so we too celebrate her Platinum Jubilee).
My older son was a catalog model at a major US brand for several seasons when he was younger. Clothing was either cut and restitched by seamstresses to fit him (if there was enough lead time) or pinned. For other companies if that wasn’t done, then that was due to the call being for a very specific size. I’m sure everything on the website is heavily tailored or pinned.

It’s not my usual colours at all, I thought it was a bit “flat” when I saw pictures and was expecting to pass, however they are not flat at all.
The only way I can describe the colours are saturated/shimmering.
Also, I wasn’t wild about the design itself, a bit fusty for me, but when tied I just got the colours not the pictures (if that makes sense) so I bought it, it is far nicer IRL.
I love that it is not "feminine". I have messaged my SA in Sydney to see if/when it will arrive in Australia. I have been waiting for this for months so I hope that I can get one!!! @paula24jen are you able to take some photos of your looking tres chic in the scarf please??
UGH. That's what I suspected. I'll be in Rome in November with a layover in Amsterdam but that seems too far out for SS22 and doesn't really do me any good on the Commonwealth front.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to how an American can get her grubby paws on one of these? Do I need to go through the resale market? My SIL will be in France all summer visiting family but again, not sure this moves the needle toward this specific purchase. She's also not the type I can send to Flagship searching for a scarf for me.
ETA: I just reached out to my local SA hoping he'll have some creative solution??

Those of you in London, they are still available in NBS. Just came in today. My SA said not many came in and will likely be gone by tomorrow. The white and green is beautiful. Of course I picked one up! Will try to share some photos when I have time this week but wanted to report it's available so you can get it!

Brides de gala marble silk has arrived. Beautiful silk jacquard with bees. Sumptuous silk and gorgeous colours. So excited to own this beauty! Picotin is Bleu Frida. My phone camera has not captured the colour correctly. I'd say that the true colours are slightly warmer.
