I feel the same way. I happen to love some of the cws of Normandes but the shape has me wary.

I like the grenadine. It's a soft red and looks very flattering. It gives a punch of color that I would think you'd want for spring/summer. I also think it's one of the pantone colors for this season so you should be able to find other things from other vendors that are an exact match.Hi Ladies,
Have any of you bought Hermes Story in Grenadine?. I'm torn between Grenadine and Marron Glacé - any advice or photos of the Grenadine version would be very much appreciated (I've been through this thread and seen some stunning images of the Marron Glacé version) I can't quite work out how vibrant grenadine is!!

I bought this and returned it. I loved the print, and I wanted to love this as I have a lot it could have been worn with. But I found it very bleh! I did not find it unflattering, but I also didn't find it flattering.
I don't like it anymore on you than I did on me. This doesn't feel like a "happy," scarf. It's very somber. Buy something that will light up your face.
I have it and I love it. I’m a blue / grey person. If you are unsure i would return it. I usually like the bright Multicolored shawls but liked this one had just a few tones w glimpses of yellow.
I think it's very beautiful but I wish they would have done a contrasting hem on these.
This is exactly how I feel! I was so sure when I saw the picture online but in person it’s just not the same… thank you! Yes I think I will return it too or exchange for a Coupe de Gala perhaps

I had not looked at this before. That's so pretty--neutral but it has a punch of color! I think that will look beautiful on you and will coordinate nicely with anything. Please post--I love to see photos--even when it doesn't work. It's very helpful.
IMHO this one is beautiful and loftily elegant but austere. Cws 9 and 11 are lighter and more springlike. I purchased cw 11 after seeing the wonderful pictures of @Pivoine66, @Sammy Royal and @LKBNOLA. It is so soft and joyful that I wear it a lot.
I bought it but I plan on framing it. It’s gorgeous but I would disagree that it’s soft. I think it’s pretty vibrant. It looks very rich so if you look good in red go for it. I think I want the marron to wear.Hi Ladies,

I like having a mix of subdued and bright shawls in my small collection. This one is more quietly elegant to me, especially the parts shown in your pics. Here are photos of mine highlighting my favorite parts. Best to only keep though, if you really love it!

I love this print but it comes in some more flattering colours. I find the grey border is a bit wishy-washy.
