I just came home from Gucci and saw the new Padlock GG Supreme. It has two variations - the red with purple detailing and black with brown detailing which they don't even have yet. The gold chain and closure is gorgeous - think it's quite chic actually! Thoughts?

I have become quite obsessed with these collections, I have to admit. While the heels are not practical for me at all (not to mention I just can't wear them we'll anymore), I have now purchased three low-heeled pairs since February. Now I'm obsessing over the bags .... are they going to release the low-heeled Peyton without the studs ... or in the first version, but without the pearls (that I'm sure to ruin) ... will I love another bag as much as the GG leather/web Marmont shoulder bag .... even though the dark brown doesn't do with anything I have .... how is the red version in person ....?? Too many questions! I might have to break down and actually go to the store here, though that means going to a mall (yuck). [emoji4]
I miss Friday. she was so my style. He's getting warmer on the bags, many I like...but none I LOVE!! we should start a petition to bring the Frida sophistication back. I can't see jumping ship to another designer because I do LOVE Gucci way too much, no one else has the amazing styles, variety, and quality of Gucci...BUT I do foresee saving a WHOLE LOTTA MONEY!! So honestly, I should probably thank AM for not designing all of these things I love like Frida did.
As you know I have ambiguous feelings. I have bought 2 pairs of shoes and a scarf since AM became CD and love then all. There's more shoes I'd happily have and a nice coat. AM makes me wear my clothes more freely. However, I am still hunting down FG's pieces (my SA managed to find me a skirt I'd not found in my size).
I'm disappointed the Dionysus Top-handle isn't leather lined like the chain bag. And what's with all this fake suede/micro fibre in some of the bags?
There's definitely an economy drive at Gucci, if it starts to affect finish and aftercare I'm off. I prefer AW16/17 so it's all heading in the right direction for me (away from trying to be Miu Miu - after all I'm not 15 anymore) but we'll see.
