Hi All,
at last, last week i got contacted by my SA. i have to say I'm really impressed with this SA. this is the same SA that persistently kept offering me 3 So Black M/L Chevron. the other 2 SAs are hopeless, never contacted me at all and whilst I tested them asking whether the bag has arrived or not since I've got contacted by this SA, the other 2 simply said no. hmm i thought they're commission based right??
anyway without further ado here's my So Black M/L Chevron. finally got it after the 3rd shipments (1st one sold to another customer, the 2nd one has a lot of deep dented surfaces and even that one is sold)
also, i found out that one side of the flap has bigger gap as shown in pic below. i just realize this when i stuffed the bag, the left side protrudes more. i wonder is this structural miss or is it because the chain tucked inside since it is the side where the chain was tucked in from the boutique?

I bought this but unfortunately had to return it because of indentations on the back. I know I could've fixed it somehow but wasnt working out

Wasn't it you and I talking about the chevron classic before they hit the stores and how they are delicate? Sorry if not, there is someone else on TPF with a similar name-may have been her.
I'm sorry this was dented from improper storing of the chains. 😿 Not cool.
I remember I was on wait lists at 3 different NM for a green irresescent calfskin boy in 2014 & one of the stores sent me a pic and it had huge dents on the front from the chains too. I was like what what?! Who's gonna buy that in that condition?! I hate to say but the quality has really gone downhill like people keep saying.
Luckily I had already bought a different one the week before.

Yes, i think Chanel needs to pay more attention in their shipping and packaging as most of their bags have delicate leather. If u happen to see my post few pages back, u'd see a chevron so black w/ dents all over and it's still sold. Sometimes the customers also need to be more critical too. This quality issue is kept happening because the customers would still buy those dented bags especially ones that're deemed limited and seasonal. I always remind myself if there's a bag that i want but seems to be difficult getting one in near perfect condition that there are always another bags coming in that's more worth it for purchase
Hi Dear, thank You. I couldn't believe myself still getting the bag after 2 shipments and it's in near perfect condition. it's just the flap gap, when I stuff it, it's pretty obvious one side protrudes more. Do you store your bag with the chain tucked inside?
