I got tired of my bag never being big enough. Somehow I always found myself still carrying something by hand.

I started looking for a Big Bag. Ideally it would have shoulder straps with minimum 7.5 inch drop and a long strap as well. Bigger than 14 inches wide. Zipper closure. No folded corners. Monogram canvas preferred. Extra points if it actually had a style, and not just tote-y looking, though being tote-y wasn’t a dealbreaker.

I was eyeing the All In, Neverfull GM, Onethego GM, Carryall MM, then discontinued styles like the old Carryall, Cabas Alto, Raspail, Jersey tote, Belmont. Nothing met all the criteria.

One day I decided to look at Fashionphile new arrivals. I don’t look at new arrivals anymore because I think they have been pricing too high. My heart skipped when I saw this beautiful bag in excellent condition, at an actually reasonable price. I bought it after considering for ten minutes. Here is my new to me Estrela GM, old model, from 2012! Never going to run out of room with this one.
