Speedy with cracked canvas ... need help please.

Have you taken this to a store? I don’t think this should happen on a 2 year old bag.

I will bring it in because yeah, it bummed me out when I first noticed. It was purchased in Jan 2018, but the date code shows it was made in July 2017. So, will that not fall within the two years?

They will likely give you a store credit, this is not normal for a newer bag.

I had cracked canvas on a Christopher PM that was about four years old. I took it to the store and it was immediately exchanged (I ended up buying a different bag). Definitely take your bag in. This amount of cracking is not normal for a two year old bag!

All: as I type, I have a brand new Speedy sitting in my lap! I was so distressed after posting my pic wirh cracks here yesterday and worrying they were going to send it away or blame me. Instead, the SA showed mgr and they offered me a new one on the spot. Well, I went under the brightest light possible and asked to look at two new ones and inspected both of those like no quality control agent ever. Haha. Thanks to you ladies and gentlemen, and my experience these last few years, I knew what to look for. But mostly, this makes me so very happy for having chosen this brand because of the way I was just treated.

Nothing you can do, no glue will help since it’s in an area moves all the time. I would say just don’t worry about it, just use it, it will hold up, I have never seen cracks on bags longer pass half an inch.

I have cracked canvas along the zipper of my 2.5 year old Nano Speedy. I took it to my local LV store and they didn’t want to know about I it. Very disappointing. My next bag will be from Gucci!
