Speedy made in USA quality?

All three of my speedies are made in USA pre cloth tag, and the canvas and quality seems the same as my made in France pieces.

My speedy B DE is made in USA and has not had any problems so far and I have had it a year !

Each manufacturing site has the same quality standards. I was told , years ago, by an LV repair specialist at my boutique, that bags made in the US have had fewer quality issues than any other location within their corporate structure (he said this was for years running). I'm not sure what that's based on, customer returns/repairs from each site etc. but I found it interesting.

This is a very interesting thread. I've sort of been wondering if people find that where their bag is made actually affects it's quality. My friend had issues with 2 of her DE bags made in France and none with her bags made in the U.S.....

OP, I own two made in USA speedy bags and the quality is just fine. I will say they do not have that cloth tag because I bought my bags prior to LV doing that.

My Speedy 30 B is MIU and is in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier.

I have two made in USA. A speedy DE 30 and a Mono Papillon. No issues and I enjoy carrying them when ever there is a push to buy made in the USA .
