Do you guys think that LV sells returned bags to the next unknowing customer? Even with flaws?
My SA in store once said that when they get a defective bag back for exchange, it will get destroyed and never go on sale again. I wonder about online purchases….
True. Flawless returns (client just didn’t like it), can be resold. DEFE (defective exchanges) are pulled and sent away to the uh, Neiman’s in the sky that bags go to live forever.

I do not know for sure but I tend to think they really should pull defective bags out of circulation. However, it begs the question what their definition of defective is. What one customer deems defective may not be considered one by LV SA. Fingers crossed the person making the final judgement exercises good standards.

I think the top layer has simply cracked at the corners where the bag has been folded whilst stitching it in manufacture. Or the peel/crack has spread from a stitch being put in. I don’t think it happened during transport, it was in a box that was a good size and it’s simply sat in the box once I received it. I think it’s a fairly delicate canvas tbh. Here’s a photo.

How awful. It's such a disappointment to be expecting something that you are ready to swoon over, only to be gutted. I hope you get a refund/replacement ASAP !!
