Speedy Damier...oh la la

Has anyone seen the new speedy in damier. i love it (the look of it and the price. it's coming out late summer and im definitely picking one up.

There's a lot of misinformation about prices. A lot of SA's are saying different things but around $700'ish is what I'm getting.

There was an old thread where we discussed this. The price of the 25 will be (in Amsterdam) 410 euros so it won't be such a huge difference with the mono
The message I got is that it will arrive June - July

I got this e-mail this morning from LV:

"The Damier Speedy is expected to launch in the Summer of 2006, this item
should be readily available, as we are not taking names for a
reservation list. Please note that at this time I am unable to provide
a confirmed price for the Damier Speedy, however we are expecting the
price to be similar to that of the Monogram canvas Speedy.

I've been thinking about getting a new Monogram Canvas Speedy. I have the 25 but lately it seems so small and I want to get a 30. Now that the Damier will be out, maybe I should wait and get a 30 in that style. I'm excited!!!!

I really hope they decide to keep it close to the monogram. I think they reconsidered their prices bc my SA looked it up in the computer and she was surprised the info was already there, and it said $720. Maybe it didn't cost as much to manufactur as they thought it would?
